Why do all the work from scratch when you can present what you've already prepared and still charge the full amount?

North Texas used concrete structure for the sideline stands and the erector set metal structure for their endzone upper student section. It looks like they continued the concrete seating in the lower sections with the two sidelines. From the rendering, it appears we are doing erector set on all four sides. So for now, our future stadium is no where close to even UNT's stadium.  UNT stadium: Construction cost: $78 million; ($106 million in 2022 dollars). Why in the world do we not have a concrete structured stadium for 3x that amount?

$300+ million does not get concrete support columns. Hate the skinny steel support columns holding up the stands. Looks cheap like a high school. It is essentially FSU's stadium...layer of concrete over a bounce house support structure. From underneath, it is going to look like FIU, FAU, UCF and FSU's stadiums......disappointed in that....is concrete support that much more....I guess so.

  3. Our USF defense held College Football Playoff Team Alabama to its lowest point total all year in 13 games. They scored 10 more points on Georgia than they did on us. Bama didn't even take the lead in our game until I believe 3:52 left in the third quarter. Granted Bama's qb mess contributed to this but what exactly did we do that day on D? Did not understand how we could not duplicate that pressure the rest of the year. Thought we would be sending DeDe as a spy on a qb the rest of the year and not drop him into coverage so much.

  4. UTSA QB right before half got sacked by two guys and walked off working his left shoulder/arm. Did not watch second half so I assume this did not affect him. Any status on him or Brown as he sat on turf for a while in our game? Short week assuming both QBs are pretty sore right now.

What sucks about noon games at RJS or we lose an hour. Gates for lots don’t open til 8am when they should open at 7am. Can’t wait til OCS which USF has more control over the tailgating & all. I will probably just get an RV and start tailgating Friday and leave around Sunday…

Just an FYI, gameday email from USF that just went out has parking lots opening at 7AM (normal 5 hours prior to kickoff).

  6. They should take 2-3 questions (pre-screened of course) sent in from the general public.

Biggest question that should have been asked: What are the plans for the redshirting freshman for these last four games?

We clearly need a spark (speed-guy) on offense. We have someone that was/will be likely the fastest person on the field for 11 of the 12 games. We need an in-motion option pitch, jet sweep or something that puts him at full speed against a safety. We need to break him out early and give a "oh sh#t" moment to Memphis and gives us fans a wow for the future moment as well.

  7. While we were playing in the big sombrero our first couple years, there was a live Bull in a steel pen in the North side of stadium parking lot. I used to park next to the pen. I don't remember how many games he was brought out to. I would imagine we could do a similar thing with new stadium. Just keep it out of stadium in parking lot. That is what Memphis does with their live Tiger.

I am not sure. I think it's partly up still the restaurant maybe knocked over but I think part of the hotel is standing. Never really cared to pay attention until now.

I pass by it everytime coming to Tampa for the game.....the restaurant/bar part shown in picture is demolished and apparently they are letting the weather and time bring it completely down. Has been like this for a number of years since I believe it was hit by a vehicle and then was condemned by authorities.

  9. When do you bring him in. Faster time then Horn in the 100m. We were discussing in the stands during Bama game that there should be some type of play with him when it was obvious we could not move the ball.

There were probably 1 or 2 players on Alabama's roster just as fast but maybe they don't play D. Thought we would see him Sat night on jet sweep or screen just to see his jets go.

So what do you do for the remaining games? Think CAG knows that 6 wins is the initial goal. If you bring him in against Rice and he is a difference maker, screw the redshirt, he is a go for rest of season.

I would bet Rice and Navy have no one close to his speed on their defense. I say CAG needs to see what he has with this guy Sat night and not just being some KR specialist. Clearly we need a spark on offense.
