Every time I see this coaches picture I think of Louis CK.

Didn’t there use to be a limit on how many players can come in during a given year, or did that change and I just haven’t been paying attention?
Nah, it’s the Wild West now. Transfer portal, Name Image and Likeness ($NIL$).

It's 272 pages. Maybe it will take off like the conference realignment thread.

I get this vibe that Michael Kelly hiring/extending coaches is like Michael Bolton in a Lonely Island Video.
Wat?

I think CJL would be an okay hire but we should probably move on. A dispute happened and regardless of who was right or wrong, it irrevocably damaged the relationship. There's still some people around USF that were there in 2010.
I am sure there are a lot of TTU fans that would like to have Mike Leach back but that will never happen.
Will USF ever invite CJL back and do a Ralph Friedgen type day like Maryland did in 2019? I tend to doubt that will happen until CJL is 70+, if ever in his lifetime.

CJL tweets imply he is looking for something to do.

The 24 inches of snow we see all year isn't that big a deal. It actually helps to filter out the undesirables. Like the fire ants, water moccasins and angry New Yorkers.

You left out the living in New Jersey part. I can live without football. NO WAY IN HELL! would I ever move to NJ.
Born and raised in FL. Moved to NJ 3 years ago. The horrors of living in NJ are highly exaggerated.

There are a lot of people who want different things out of a football coach. I imagine most families that signed up for and believed in Jeff Scott are likely not to be the audience that would be fine with Jon Gruden.
One is a really nice guy and one is maybe less so

Isn't it the other way around?
Typically it is. Don't think you can count people like Jim Harbaugh, Saban or Spurrier because they succeeded at college ball and then went to the NFL and came back.
Jim Mora at UCLA and Herm Edwards at ASU had some limited success going from the NFL to NCAA.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that pretty much anyone that has been named will do a better job with these players than Jeff Scott.
Gruden, Orgeron, Frost, Taggart, Skip Holtz, Leavitt, Charlie Strong, Rich Bisaccia, Trent Dilfer, etc.
I don't think we could possibly be disappointed
Michael Kelly has set the bar fairly low.

Ed Orgeron. At least his press conferences are entertaining.

College football is all about bench seating. You want a soft seat with a cup holder, go buy in the club.
See Sanford Stadium for UGA.
Gives the school more opportunity to sell USF Branded Stadium Seat merchandise.

Quinton Flowers is to Willie Taggart what Teddy Bridgewater was to Charlie Strong.
Two QB's who made their former coaches a lot of money.
