  1. who is leaving for graudtion and who is leaving for pro? who is transferring? how can you make a run like last year and then fail this year.? can they get it done? i think coach dikranian needs to come back. kiefer gave to much responsibility on the former asst. negalia to recruit all these guys who are talented and able but not driven. kiefer has a big contract now. let's see what he does with it.
  2. UNC coming to town to play the Bulls? This will be interesting considering the old assistant left for Carolina. This calls for a good story!!!!
  3. Negalia recruited the last 2 classes I beleive. My question is how do you lose your primary assistant to UNC to I think become the 2nd assistant. I'm just happy for the guys. They all hate Kiefer.
  4. I think he still sucks!! I'm very happy for the player's. Kiefer is taking all the credit although he never recruited any of these player's.
  5. Winning the division is awesome. I'm sure Negalia, Fernandes and Dirkanian are kicking themselves in the butt for leaving (or getting fired?). The guys are pumped for the tournament. Any thoughts out there? It's amazing this board has little to talk about when a team is winning at USF and making an impact in the BE.
  6. Let's keep this on the first page. You dummies on the board have high hopes for the football team and I don't understand why??. We will get a whooping in the Big East. How about we talk about the real football and not handball. I wanted to say hi to Sharpie. Instead of writing on this board and defending your roommate, why don't you stay in games and not get red carded? Also, heard that Richard Simmons got scored on pretty bad this week. Bad goal against a New Mexico team. Question is since we are off to a 1-3 start why don;t we change the goalkeeper now? We did it at 7-0-2 last year. I need feedback from this because as far as I'm concerned I have questions about the staff? Mr. Woolard should to!!
  7. Hey Coach, Time to change the goalkeeper you dumb ass. Last year you did it at 7-0-2. Why not this year? You've suffered 4 goals in two games and by the way let's take a poll Looking at the 2 links. If you were to go by the picture would you go with Simmons (Dane Brenner) or Hall the enforcer.? http://gobulls.usf.edu/Sports/Athlete.asp?s=Soccer&i=100 http://gobulls.usf.edu/Sports/Athlete.asp?s=Soccer&i=507 Career- A tall athletic goalkeeper, who will backup Brenner this season … How can you say this at the beginning of the season??? Mr. Woolard you should invesitagate Mr. Kiefer.!!!!
  8. Have you guys been out to watch the games? I was at the FIU and JU game. Kind of dissapointed about the FIU game. The JU game was unreal. That Jordan Seabrook kid is FAST. Too bad that Schoendorf and West are ou. Any word on hem getting back? Why is Kerron Benito not starting? One last thing becuase I know you soccer boys are looking at this site. What is the deal with these quotes. “It killed me to lose against a team like FIU. We should have beaten them,†Brenner said. “Barbosa is a good player, and he saw an opening and took advantage, making a good shot. I made some good plays in the JU game and that’s what I try and do every game.†I can't believe you would say that. Actually I can becuase you are selfish and annoying. Do we haev another Troy "Poser" Perkins..Come on Dane hit me up becuase I know you and Blak Sharpe come on these boards. How about this one “Seeing as we were up 4-0 at halftime, JU had to come out and do something different,†USF coach Ryan Anatol said. “That’s partially where all those penalties came from; they were just trying any way they could to throw us off our game. With all the young players on the team, sometimes you just have to sit back and see what happens.†Put Freddy Hall in the goal and Kris Raad playing all the time. Why is the assistant doing all the talking. Where is the big man? Is he on the hot seat that he is afraid to speak. And why is it that we are still young all the time. I don't understand that Mr. Woolard and admin. Nice party the other night guys. Put Freddy Hall in the goal and Kris Raad playing all the time.
  9. Need more. Please compare. And, I' m just looking at soccer now. We need to put some heat on these people that are working inside. You guys will never make it big time if you have a bunch of unmotivated 9-5ers. If the coach doesnt give it to you, go get it. http://gobulls.usf.edu/Sports/roster0.asp?i=8&s=Soccer http://www.fiusports.com/soccerm/roster.htm UCF evens get something going with Head Coach. http://ucfathletics.collegesports.com/
  10. Maybe you guys should get off your ass. Or, while you are on your ass do something. http://www.fiusports.com/soccerm/05_releases/072705.htm
  11. I see the USF Sports Information Dept. is doing a great job of promoting our pro's. Afterall, it's not like USF has many. Come on guys!!! Jeff Cunningham make All- Star Team http://www.mlsnet.com/MLS/news/mls_news.jsp?ymd=20050726&content_id=37962&vkey=allstar2005&fext=.jsp Mark Chung named MLS Player of the Week http://sanjose.earthquakes.mlsnet.com/MLS/news/team_news.jsp?ymd=20050725&content_id=37877&vkey=pr_sje&fext=.jsp&team=sje And where has this been when Cunningham made the team of the week.? Isn't he the leading goal scorer. 2005 PLAYER OF THE WEEK WINNERS Week 1: Edson Buddle (Columbus Crew) Week 2: Landon Donovan (Los Angeles Galaxy) Week 3: Jon Busch (Columbus Crew) Week 4: Clint Dempsey (New England Revolution) Week 5: Amado Guevara (MetroStars) Week 6: Freddy Adu (D.C. United) Week 7: Josh Wolff (Kansas City Wizards) Week 8: Ronnie O'Brien (FC Dallas) Week 9: Carlos Ruiz (FC Dallas) Week 10: Nate Jaqua (Chicago Fire) Week 11: Zach Wells (MetroStars) Week 12: Jeff Cunningham (Colorado Rapids) Week 13: Pat Noonan (New England Revolution) Week 14: Joe Cannon (Colorado Rapids) Week 15: Matt Taylor (Chivas USA) Week 16: Taylor Twellman (New England Revolution) Week 17: Mark Chung (San Jose Earthquakes) I know soccer is not the biggest sport, but some press for USF would be good. What a joke. A few things: 1. Get your website update and more professional 2. Get with the program in terms of publicity. You are actually moving into the Big East. Oh. Didn't Rodrigo Hidalgo play with the Under 18 National Team this summer? Come on people.
  12. In her three seasons with USF, the Bulls went 27-34. This season's winning record was a first for the program since 2000, and the third-place finish at the Conference USA Champions was the highest since 2000. "I look forward to helping my successor continue the successful path that I initiated," said Fernandez, who recently earned a psychology degree from USF. "And I will remain committed, in my new role as a voluntary assistant, to the growth of the tennis program and my alma mater." She is so full of herself. Has anybody ever met this lady? She is so into herself. What the hell is a 27-34 record have to do with success.? As far as I'm concerned, there are a lot of other tennis coaches out there with ni big name that have done a better job. If some of you guys say she's done a great job, we will fail in the BIG EAST. What type of **** is this?
  13. Looks even better now!!! Can we win? TAMPA, Fla. (June 9, 2004) - Head Coach George Kiefer and the USF men’s soccer team announced the addition of three players to the 2005 team today. The list is comprised of incoming freshman players who did not play with the Bulls during the spring. Coming to USF from Indianapolis, Ind., Jordan Seabrook will join the soccer team in the fall. In his senior year at North Central High School, the forward scored 38 goals and assisted on 15. Named a two-time NSCAA High School All-American in 2003 and 2004, Seabrook attended the adidas Elite Soccer Program Camp in 2004. He was also on the Olympic Development Program Region II Team in 2004. A native of Belgium, Joris Claessens comes to USF from Lake Mary High School in Orlando, Fla. Contributing as much time on the field as off the field, the incoming freshman was on honor roll throughout his time at Lake Mary High. A member of the AJAX Orlando (PDL) Team, Claessens also played with the OHL U-18 Team in Belgium. Blake Wagner comes to USF from Edison Academic Center in Bradenton, Fla. Joining his brother, Brett Wagner, who was recently announced as a transfer to the 2005 USF men’s soccer team, Wagner was an NSCAA High School All-American in 2004 and attended the adidas Elite Soccer Program Camp in 2004 as well. A local product out of Tampa, Fla., Wagner has been a member of the U.S. National Program since 2002, playing on the U-15 and U-17 teams while also being a part of the U-17 residency program. Last month he represented the U.S. in the Youth World Cup Qualifiers in Costa Rica. Kiefer expects to announce the signing of several other players in the next few weeks.

While at Jesuit he led the Tigers to their 19th-straight district championship and the regional finals in his junior year and he led Jesuit to a national championship, state championship and seventh-straight state final four appearance in his sophomore year. Andre Townsend transfers to USF after playing for two seasons at Richmond. Before suffering a mid-season injury in 2004, Townsend played in nine games and registered a goal and two assists while being named to the Bradley Classic All-Tournament Team. In his freshman season he was named to the Atlantic-10 All Rookie Team after playing in 18 games while assisting on three goals. A native of Kingston, Jamaica, the defender/midfielder is a member of the U-20 National Team Pool. The 2005 campaign will also mark the addition of Sammy Castellanos. The midfielder joined USF last season but sat out and will now join the team in the 2005 season. The native of Philadelphia, Pa., played at Rutgers from 2002-03. As a sophomore he helped the Scarlet Knights to their 12th NCAA appearance in the program’s past 23 seasons, while playing in 13 matches, recording one goal and one assist. In his freshman season Castellanos started all 19 contests, leading the team in scoring with 17 points. He was awarded the annual Art Brinkmann Award given to the team’s top scorer, netting six goals and five assists. Kiefer expects to announce the signing of several other players in the next few weeks.
  15. Search for New UCF Soccer Coach to Begin Immediately Golden Knights looking for new leadership as they move into Conference USA. In 12 seasons with UCF, Bob Winch compiled a record of 112-100-15. March 31, 2005 ORLANDO - UCF will commence a national search immediately to find a replacement for men's soccer coach Bob Winch, whose contract will not be renewed when it expires in July. "We're grateful for the many years of service Bob has given to UCF," UCF director of athletics Steve Orsini said. "He has worked hard to build the program to its current point, but we believe it's time for a change in leadership to continue the growth of the program as it moves into Conference USA. We're confident we will have a pool of quality applicants for the position that can develop UCF's student-athletes on and off the field." Winch was named head coach of the Golden Knights in 1993 and compiled a career record of 112-100-15 in 12 seasons, including an 11-7-2 mark in 2004. 17. I heard today the men's soccer coach resigned. Is this true?
  18. Did this guy Anatol play for USF? Does he know what he is getting into? Why is there no interest for this thread.? We have a program who can do very well in the country and as of the last three years we have signed very good players. Actually top ten recruiting classes. Is the ship sinking? Why do we have player turnover every year? Can someone explain and are the administrators taking a good look at this or do they really care? We are going to the BIG EAST people!! Soccer is a big sport in the BE!!!
  19. This does not make any sense. How do you lose one of your better players? The Oracle story smells funny. Don't you think the coach should start looking in the mirror. He has done nothing but bring in talent and basically has done nothing with it. Does the administration know that he does not run the team in the fall and that the old guy is the one who does everything??? LOOKS AND SMELLS FUNNY!!!! ???
  20. Went to the game last night with a few buddies. Good game. The crowd was small. I can agree with bullstriker on why the Mutiny died. Heard last night the guy below is transferring. 21. The women receive money from all angles with Title 9. Scholarship, recruiting, operational and salaries. I was at a party with a few guys and some of the high end guys want out. Rumor has it that Kiefer has no idea what he is doing. Solid recruiting for the last two years and this guys cant even win CUSA game or get into an NCAA tourney. You can bring all the guys you want, but if you cant coach them?????I hear that Kiefer is worried about making money at his camps. My friend who played three years for this guys says that...(he) never paid him well either. I got more stories but I think some other guys will come on board to explain.  ::goodbye:: <edited by Bulliever to meet board standards>
  22. The men should get the money. Tthe women get a lot more than the men. Who will be the new assistant for the men? Since I am close to a now former player, rumor has it that a few guys want to transfer. Anybody got inside scoop.? Will the old guy be back to coach the team in the fall? What does the AD think about that? You have a head coach for 12 months who does I don't know what? Then you have the guy that just left and did all the recruiting. And then you have this old guy that comes in for the season to train the team?? All I know is that DWoolard should start to take notice. Alot of the players are getting tired of it. Send some feed back. Bullstriker1, you know anything? [smiley=toilet_claw.gif][smiley=toilet_claw.gif]
