  1. My sources also tell me that the woman he is getting married to this week works for a company that's based out of raleigh. This was a major contributing factor, along with the fact that he loved the staff and AD at NC State. He ultimately wants to be a head coach somewhere, and obviously realized this wasn't the place he was going to get it at. I wish him the best, he seems like a really cool guy from what I've been told, wish I would've gotten a chance to meet him.

  2. it's actually NC State. He's been in North Carolina all week interviewing for a job up there, mostly because of his recruiting ability. IMO this guy is a hell of a coach; he has kept our defense sharp from day one and doesn't get the recognition he deserves for doing such a great job.

    By the way, my source is a family friend of Kravitz, I'd prefer not to say who, but the source is extremely reliable.

  3. Listen Trip, arrogance has nothing to do with it, and I know that there's no such thing as a perfect sports bar or perfect anything for that matter. If you look at one of my earlier posts there are creative ways to include both the pros and USF. You can't deny the fact that within one week of opening there was a total lack of Bulls merchandise.

    I'm starting to sympathize with the cee's and smazza's of this board. I state my opinion and then the name calling starts. I support USF athletics through thick and thin; I've been to numerous USF events and bleed green and gold. Yet I get called arrogant for having an opinion towards a bar that's a half-assed attempt to be the official Bulls bar? If you want to have an intelligent discourse on the topic, I'm all ears. I realize I started the topic on a heated note but that's just my way of being passionate. Spare the name calling for your weekly republican club meetings....

  4. I had a good time. Good to see all of the bulls fan there: Moises; Paisa, Ricky, Bullsmania, and Mike G.

    If you don't like the place, don't go back. Just let me when they open anything like it in crystal river.

    I want a Bulls sports bar just as much as any other Bulls fan, but I want it done right. I won't be going back there; I'm not gonna just accept it because it's the only one. It'd be like settling for the first girl that just came up to you and said she loved you even though she looks like she got slapped from here to sunday with an ugly stick.

  5. They do have some jerseys from the coaches and are in the process of getting them framed for the walls.

    That's a step, but what about pictures, posters, programs, old Bulls stuff, basketball stuff, and other assorted memorabilia. If I had a few million dollars to design a Bulls restaurant, I'd do my homework at least. Another thing, why wasn't that stuff up when they first opened?? I remember checking it out a week after it opened, and the Bucs jerseys were all set up in cases hanging on the wall. You mean to tell me that you couldn't track down at least one bit of Bull merchandise for every, let's say, 10 feet of wall space just so the place doesn't look naked???

  6. ...Bishop, did you talk to the owner?  Did you miss the merchandise window in the front?  I am not going to trash your opinion, but I think you underestimate their passion and desire to market to the USF crowd.

    I did see that stuff, and I didn't get a chance to talk to the owner, however he was talking to the guy next to me at the bar. Seeing how much money this guy dropped on this place is crazy considering it could've been done so much better. And you know what, if there was Bulls stuff all over the wall, hell i'd be ok with a few other sports teams up. Maybe if they had a guy with half a brain decorating the place they could have a very nice compromise by getting an old Bucs Lee Roy Selmon Jersey or maybe even a J.R. Reed jersey to settle the rabid philly peeps.

  7. Ok let me get this straight;

    NO questions about the QB situation.

    NO questions on offensive play calling.

    Is Leavitt screening who asks questions and attends this event like our President? ;D

    I think it had a lot to do with how quick he did his talk and then ended it. I think he may have gone ten minutes including the Q&A. PLus the people who dislike/disapprove of Leavitt aren't going to show up to just hear him talk.

  8. Bishop, I may be mistaken but I do believe one of the owners is a Bull grad.

    I don't recall hearing anything about that when I read the articles a while back, and if he is, frankly, I think that makes it a whole lot worse. Can anyone confirm he was a USF grad and make me somewhat of a jackass?? I'll have a little bit of crow on that point if i'm wrong, but that will just make my point even more in regards to how pathetic that place is.
