Econ, I was at the FIU game and a person asked me to sit down. IN THE STUDENT SECTION! Other people in the first two rows were asked to sit as well (all people in the first 2-3 rows behind the bench). Hopefully, we just took the night off and we'll play better.

I dont think Catch 47 can show games that were on the ESPN "family". The only ones they've reshown(I think) were the Big East Games of the Week. This was on ESPN2, therefore replay on ESPNU. Too bad so few people actually get ESPNU

Brad, just to let you know, outside the athletic facility last night before the buses arrived, a lot of people were talking about this site and things posted on here.

I hope it was good stuff...we are here to help bring access to Bulls fans and potential Bulls fans via the internet.  At one time we did watch parties and other things, but we primarily want to build a positive and constructive online fan base that keeps everyone informed on the Bulls.  Things like last night - an impromptu meeting at the Athletic Facility to greet the team - is one of the reasons we have this.  It is a way to communicate unofficially regarding the Bulls.  Now and then, we do have some not-so-kind-to-the-Bulls rhetoric, but I hope that was not the discussion last night after such a huge win.

We are here to be a positive impact on the Bulls experience.  And the more, the merrier.

Yeah it was positive, just people talking about seeing the information on here and conversations that have occurred. I just thought it was really cool to hear people discussing this site.

I was trying to remember what our relationship with ECU fans was on the message board, unfortunately this thread answers my question. I hope we put 50 up on them if they are who we play.

You really dont know if its weak. People were saying we'd lose to UCF this year and we beat them and they say well you havent played anyone. Same thing w/ North Carolina, they probably wont be good next year either, but they are traditionally better than 3-9.

Related: When UofL played Miami, Lee Corso picked Miami to win, and then later in the season he said UofL hadnt played anybody.  

Southern Miss because I still cant stand them, and would love to beat them. But ECU wouldnt be too bad, we have a history with them too.

I believe one paper said our share would have been like $337,000. We got more out of that win yesterday w/ publicity than that I think. We for the most part, upstaged uf-f$u, which would have only happened with us winning. Every national highlight show has done our game in the last 24 hours.

I agree, we have more of a perception vs. reality problem. I've known people who start out with the opinion "I dont want to go to USF", but if they take the campus visit or find out more realize how great the university is.

Yeah, it was great. A lot of people had the Bull bells going when the buses pulled up. Definiately loud, and FWIW, I thought there was about 100-120 people there too.

That was fun! About 100 people showed up...

I didn't go to the Bull Ring, so someone who went there will have to post more.

Amarri Jackson came out and hugged/shook hands with almost everyone... telling us how much they appreciate our support.  Many other players were pumped to see the fans there.

Not sure how often that happens, but they seemed very happy.  CJL signed autographs like crazy.

I was cracking up, CJL signed that guy's car. Ammari was great with everyone and so was Grothe. That was a lot of fun and you could see what it meant to the players and the coaches. I'm not sure, but I think it was Coach Frey went around and thanked everyone for coming.

I was the guy who was rooting for USF and screaming "Go Bulls!"

That made me realize how stupid that sounded, I didnt see anyone else wearing horns at the Clubhouse was the point. And also, I dont know why I hadnt joined, but I got the application for SBC over the weekend.

if you can't find a place to watch the game in south tampa, then come up to Clubhouse on Fowler.  great atmosphere, and the place was packed with bulls fans and 4 gaytor fans (not to worry, we gave them hell all night with uk, and wildcat cheers) alau, and myself even did push ups while everybody counted to 7.  it was a fun time, minus the outcome of the game.  Andythebull, where were you sitting?  i was in the back room.

I was at the table to the left when you first walk in the door. For anyone else who was there, I was the guy with the horns and the jersey.

I went to the party at the Clubhouse and that it is a great atmosphere. I love that place. In the 2nd half we had a bunch of people doing the 1,2,3 FIRST DOWN BULLS chant.
