Is anyone thinking NIT this year?
YEAH!
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that if you beat ECU you get an automattic invite to the NIT.

Well, let's have a look at future days (well a good guess anyway)...
2006 HOME: FAMU, Miami, Rutgers, UConn, Pitt, Syracuse
2006 AWAY: North Carolina, UCF, Louisville, Cincinnati, West Virginia
2007 HOME: CUSA team, North Carolina, Louisville, Cincinnati, West Virginia
2007 AWAY: Auburn, Rutgers, UConn, Pitt, Syracuse
2008 HOME: Rutgers, UConn, Pitt, Syracuse
2008 AWAY: Florida, CUSA team, Louisville, Cincinnati, West Virginia
2009 HOME:, Louisville, Cincinnati, West Virginia
2009 AWAY: Florida, Rutgers, UConn, Pitt, Syracuse
Pretty darn respectable if you ask me....
Hopefully we'll beat more than just UCF.. hehe

- Last year's team under McCullum performed worse than any of Greenberg's teams.
- People talk about how we never went anywhere under Seth. We are not even back to where Seth had us yet, so any talk about how good we are is premature at best.
BLAH, FREAKIN', BLAH BLAH
MOVE ON! Seth is GONE!!!

I will be surprised if he's fired.  The OC did not coach the PJ's USF INT extravaganza for CUSA in 2005.  Eliminate the TOs, half the penalties & complete 50% of the passes and the Bulls win 8 games next yr easy.
Exactly!
The OC might not have the best scheme in the NCAA, but if it is executed properly it would be effective (and fun to watch I might add).

If we had a QB who could execute the plays, it wouldn't seem quite as bad...

Let it be known that McCullum would never let USF get spanked like that in his second season as head coach. I cant stress it enough that USF is going to be on to bigger and better things in the next few years.
Next year I expect to get spanked many... many.. times.

MM,
Are you saying that Tampa is a bandwagon town?? LOL. I would have never guess that. So does that mean that if the NFL goes on strick will the USF football games have more than 12k in the stands?? If that is all USF needs to happen then I am going to pray like hell that the NFL goes on strick or the owners lock them out. Stranger things have happened. Nah, the Glazers would more than likely bring back the USFL to play the games.
Actually, by that logic the NFL would need to go belly up and all Bucs season ticket holders would have to be given free USF seats.
Actually, now that I think about it... why NOT give all lower bowl Bucs season tickets FREE bulls tickets (in the upper bowl). That might fill RJS up and make some fans! And we would still make consession (beer) money.

Anyone know why we seem to get more press outta Lakeland than from Tampa or St Pete??

Velcro, since you are guys are talking Greek, what makes the cost differentiate between $10-75 per month? ÂÂ
I'm not sure how he got those specific amounts, but it generally is dependent on the amount of bandwidth (hits/traffic) used.

Velcrogrip,
Those numbers look pretty real excect for POSSIBLY the hosting cost.
I don't know which host you guys are currently using, but most hosts (assuming they are Linux/apache/php based, which is the norm these days) provide the use of atleast 1 MySQL database for free in the normal monthly free. So you could probably use the same host you currently do.
If you are self hosted setting up MySQL (which is free) is pretty simple on either Windows or Linux.

I will say that I missed BOTH of the last two home games. I haven't missed 2 home games in a row since the start of USF football.
So, why did I miss them? Because of holiday plans on Saturday's around Thanksgiving and into December. I even gave away 2 tickets to the ALT/Bucs game.
Would I have gone to the games if it was possible? Yes.
Would I have expected them to WIN the games? No.

NAM, This board is not database driven.  It creates a text file for every single transaction, and uses perl to read and write the files.
MySQL might be a better option if we were to start off clean, but under the circumstances, it just doesn't quite fit our scenario....
Actually... no.
I know the board is not database driven. I know all the technicals. In the past I have convert text based forums to MySQL based ones a couple of times (to both PHPBB2 and IPB). Also, IPB for a small payment will convert your entire forum for you. They also offer good support. I currently use IPB for a large project (the site is www.certtalk.com and we are currently opening the site to the public after months of development) and it is very good software.
As I said before, I would have no problem helping in the conversion. It is VERY doable.

Personally, I would consider a software upgrade. I would consider a MySQL based forum software as they generally are more robust.
The boards could be moved over as is, with very little lose of functionality.
I've set up several of them if you'd like some help.

Can someone explain to me why we are only 7 pt (well I guess 10 if you figure in the 3pt 'home advantage') underdogs to Pitt?
Pitt can make a BCS bowl with a win.
USF can't hit a toilet bowl with it's QBing.
I don't get it. I would have guessed at least 14pts.

Eventually, I hope we can find a way to win a game we aren't supposed to...
