Hey Jim:
Each school is alloted a certain amount of conference tournament tickets. We are not required to sell our total number but manage to do so any how. The way it works is that the BIG EAST sends information directly to our season ticket holders and Bulls Club donors. Those individuals than have a finite period of time to request tickets. We limit each person to the maximum of 2 tickets to make sure we have enough to go around. Hope that answers your questions.

Thanks Kyle. You make valid points. Between Brighthouse, local ABC, and all the games that have been on national or regional coverage, we continue to have more and more games televised. I guess some people won't be happy until every single USF athletic event is televised. We'd be the first in the country with that. Ladies and gentlemen, live from the Coral, it's the USF Cheerleading practice.

The game yesterday was not part of the ESPN package. They were made available to the BIG EAST Network stations which Catch 47 is a part of. That's why I believe the Louisville vs. Seton Hall game was on at 12 noon today. It is the BIG EAST Game of the Week.

A lot of good that does. :-[
The BIG EAST Conference has the television rights for the tournaments. They've contracted it out to ESPNU. We can't televisie it locally. If you have a problem with this than contact the BIG EAST Conference. It's not their fault ESPN and Brighthouse can't workout a deal.

I'll admit that is the first request for Jason, probably in his life.  If you aren't somehow related to him I'd be shocked.  Although I think he does a great job as PA announcer as well.
If you buy a foursome in one of the tournaments and let me know, I'll see if Jason can get out of work for the day. I'm going to the PODS Championship with him next week.

The USF Bulls Club will be hosting a watch party for the USF Women's Basketball first round BIG EAST Conference Tournament game against Seton Hall. Game time is set for 2 p.m. The Clubhouse is located on the corner of Fowler and 56th Ave. I recommend the poppers with cream cheese.

I'm right here Jewbull, some of us work during the day and can't be on the message board the whole time. I'll be there probably on Friday and maybe on Saturday. I have parental responsibilities all weekend for my 3 month old as Liisa will be in Hartford with the Cheerleaders.
As I stated in a previous thread, I'm hoping for three close games with USF coming out on top. In this business, you root for the team giving you a paycheck. No question about it. Go Bulls and Fire Up Chips!

The Bulls Club will be hosting a watch party there most likely. I just have to confirm with Mike. I'll most likely be there with my daughter as her mother will be in Hartford with the cheerleaders. Once everything is official I'll post a new topic.

Still waiting. It's one of those weird things where we can give it away but not sell it. And before anyone chimes in we will not put ourselves in the situation of being sued by giving beer away at all baseball games.

How about three close losses for Central Michigan though. It's my alma mater so I don't want us to totally destroy them. But three close wins for the Bulls would be great for me.
Eric

Yes you should. That information should be out in the next couple of weeks.

any chance sbc can put something together to get the diehards out there??? ÂÂ
Unfortunately not, too late to put it together. Would also be too expensive. Sorry my friend but I admirer your commitment.

Just wanted to get a roll call of who is going to Hartford. The Bulls Club will be there in the form of Amabel Aqui and want to know whom she should expect to hang out with.

Nope, you don't get to play with Coach but they have one of the best player packs around. Plus food all over the course. It's a great show.
Anyone interested in helping with any of these events we are always looking for help. Especially with the Pinellas County event. Gene, Mutt, Bubbles, et al. have all offered help but any other folks interested let me know.

Hey Guys:
Here's what that is. The Men's Golf Coach-Am is on March 2nd at Lake Jovita. There is an auction following that event that helps raise funds for the Men's Golf program. You have the opportunity to bid on those items on line. On Feb. 28th when the online auction ends, the high bids will be placed as the current bid at the event. Those at the event can bid higher than you they want or your bid may be high enough.
So for these items it isn't necessarily that you out bid the others on line it's that you bid high enough so noone bids on it at the event. Or you jack the price up and the Men's Golf team wins.
It's not explained very well on our website and I'll ask that some new language is added. Thanks to Bulliever for giving me a heads up on this topic as I don't look at every thread.

So Eric, are you allowed to say how close they are to the goal?
And what about the Practice Fields/Softball Facility?
To be honest, I don't have clue as to what money has been committed to the dining facility. I know more about what is happening with the competition and practice facilities than that. My focus is mainly on making sure each one of you is making your annual gift to the Bulls Club. Renewals go out in March!
Eric

The north side is where the new basketball practice facility and offices are going. So there isn't any room there. The dining hall on the east side may also allow some upgrade in the concessions offered at SunDome events as it may be some sort of partnership.

30 mins away...
I'm countering with a $75K salary... a signed contract on when the branch will be open and on what percentage I will receive from total branch profits as the branch continues to grow. I'm with a good company... I am not risk adverse... I realize the struggles of going off on my own. Either way... I will make a lot of money. This will be a $95K raise if my company agrees. That is pretty agressive on my part... but I work my ass off and would like to buy my mom the Pearl Escalade she has always dreamed about and get baseline seats for my dad to the Washington Nationals instead of the nose bleeds I currently have him in! I'd also like to give some loot to the football and softball programs! Let's get paid today is what I'm thinking!
Don't forget about that nice donation to the USF Bulls Club you always wanted to do as well! ;D

There is also one tentatively planned for the final home basketball game in the Corral during the Bulls Club pregame. Sorry for those that don't have access to the pregame but that's what he requested.

For those of you that live in the Tampa Bay area and aren't aware that the Tampa Bay Area is home to a PGA Golf event, the PODS Championship is March 8-11 at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club.
I volunteer with them to help promote the tournament and to build a partnership between USF and this major event. There are two very popular packages: 1) The Copperhead Pack and 2) the Hooters Owl's Nest.
1) For $230 you get 2 good any day clubhouse tickets, a parking pass, and 2 rounds of golf on the Copperhead Course...the same one the tournament is on.
2) For $59 for 1 person, $99 for 2 people, or $195 for foursome, you get access to the Hooters Owl's nest which gets you good any one day ticket, a boat of wings, and complimentary beer throughout the day.
If you would like more information go to http://www.podschampionship.com/shop/productsByCategory.asp?intCatalogID=1&strCatalog_NAME=Ticket+Packages. Make sure to put USF on the form or mention USF when you call.
If you have any question let me know.

Sorry let me clarify, men's basketball season ticket holders. Cyber I don't know off the top of my head if you have MBB season tickets or not.
And larger donors can purchase a couple more. It's all spelled out in the mailing that went out.
