  1. Just a suggestion from someone who raises money for a living and I applaud your efforts and willingness to stand up for a cause, but people can be a little hesitant to donate money through a message board. I might suggest utilizing a sight like giveforward.com or other similar sights where you can provide information that will answer people questions and it also provides a place for people to go to give. They might feel more comfortable and it might raise more money. Just a suggestion but if you'd like any other assistance, I'd be more than willing to meet with you in person. I am on campus of course. Again, I applaud your efforts and willingness to be involved!

I thought you were just going to donate to SBC?

What does that have to do with pointing out that the website's purchase function is still not working?

It is working now. Please use this link: http://www.imagedepottampa.com/RockyRag/

  3. If you order online, it's $7.95 + $4.95 S&H

There is an option to pick up at Image Depot of Tampa on Fowler Ave. as well and avoid the shipping costs.

The online purchase is not working. In store pick up isn't a viable option unless you are in the area. They should sell them before the game in the stadium parking lots.

It seems to be working again, at least it did for me.

  4. Hi everyone:

I just wanted to chime in on the Rocky's Rag concept and cost. The SBC board, current USF students, worked over a period of about 12 months to come up with ideas that could be long lasting that everyone could participate in. The looked at many different designs and towels and this is what they felt would be marketable to the largest number of people.

The cost is where it is because it's a little nicer towel and we didn't have the option of buying a large number of them up front. These are pretty much being made when ordered. SBC is funded by their memberships ($25 per student) and gifts from other alumni, former SBC members, and sponsors.

We hope you'll consider helping these students who took the initiative to develop this concept by purchasing one or more of these. Thanks so much for all each of you do. Go Bulls! See you Saturday at 2 p.m.!

  5. Just a reminder that Tuesday, May 15th is a deadline for two very important things.

First, it is the deadline to make your annual Bulls Club gift. We certainly appreciate all of your support. You can make your gift online at www.MyBullsClub.com. If you have difficulty with our online system, please call the Bulls Club offices.

Secondly, it is the deadline to opt in for 2013 men's or women's basketball season tickets. If you don't opt in by May 15th, you will not be a part of the initial reseating process. Even if you are just considering buying 2013 men's or women's basketball season tickets, you should opt in. There is no obligation to purchase until it comes time to select seats. More information on the reseating can be found at www.MyBullsClub.com or in the thread currently being discussed on this board.

    Thanks again everyone. Go Bulls!

  6. Hey everyone:

If you are concerned about transportation, check out our travel packages at http://bullsclub.usf.edu/bullsclub/travel.asp.  We provide bus transportation to and from the game.  And again just because I want everyone to know that their are a lot of people that work on the road game tailgates that they are not the Alumni Association Tailgates, they are the USF Tailgates.  They are a team effort of Central Development staff, Alumni Association and the Bulls Club.

  7. Isn't the Forum hosting the Women's Final Four next year also?

2009... and I think all of those tix are sold through the NCAA.  Could be wrong, tho.

    Women's Final Four April 6 and 8, 2008

    St. Pete Times Forum (21,497)

    Tampa, Fla.

    Host: University of South Florida

    http://www.ncaasports.com/basketball/womens/schedules

I thought I kept seeing ads during the broadcasts this year.

We are hosting the Women's Final Four next year as well.  We probably won't have the same opportunity though as the Final Four tends to sell out well ahead of time.

  8. USF and the St. Petersburg Times Forum will host 2008 First and Second Round NCAA Men’s Regional games.  USF season ticket holders will receive a special NCAA application in the mail in the next 10 to 14 days.  If you wish to purchase tickets to this event, please fill out the form and return it to the address indicated on the form.  USF season ticket holders will receive donor priority within the USF section of seats.  Even though tickets may be available to the general public before you get your application, for the best possible seating and the consideration of your donor priority, it is important that you purchase using the application you will receive in the mail from USF rather than buying via phone or other options.  For more information, call 1-800-GoBulls.
