Reduction in schollys would have been a more impactful penalty.

I sat at the Table with Coach Patrick last year at the kick off luncheon and he spoke confidently about the team winning the Big East and going to the Orange Bowl. I understand that Coaches have to be confident, but, the Bulls did not even come close to last season's objective. I will support the team, however, I'm not drinking the kool aid again.

Sad story, another NFL Hopeful is slapped by reality and only after time has passed will he realize that going to class and studying is a lot less work than laboring in the hot sun of Florida doing manual work. I hope this set back will reboot his outlook and he can get back in school to finish his degree. BTW, well stated Bausfkid.

I don't know anymore, I thought last season the Bulls were poised to make a run and they fell flat. I'm hoping for the best and preparing for the worst, because if the Bulls fall flat again, recruiting is going to get exponentially more difficult.

PSU wanted the penalties fast tracked and therefore agreed to have the independent investigation they paid for used by the NCAA to evaluate Penn State. Look for a verdict on Miami to come down after the season has started as the NCAA is very dilatory in their investigations.

Awesome! What a great role model for the younger guys to follow, to see an upper classmen working his arse off to get back on the field following an injury.

The upcoming season hinges on two elements, the ability of the Bulls to run the ball successfully and stopping the run. As long as BJ plays within himself, doesn't turn the ball over and complete the "easy" passes he will be effective in the offense.

As many have already expressed, I hope the University can come with the necessary funds to complete the Corral in the same look as the Sun Dome and look forward to the construction of an indoor practice facility.

I was able to see the interior yesterday prior to the green gold game and it does look incredible, the seating reminds me of ND's arena whereas the concourse area is more along the lines of a professional sports arena.

Those aren't toilets, those are light fixtures.

I can't say enough good things about B.J. he has grown so much and his growth as a QB has been exponential.  His current QB rating is 158.4.  Amazing what talent, determination, hard work, and more importantly outstanding coaching can get you.  If  B.J. can maintain his excellence play this team will win the Big East.

Congrats to UCF for beating BC.

Funny stuff, I just can't believe someone would go an opposing teams message board with, "You will have new friend in the BE in 2010-I know Stuff-That is all."  Very absurd when you think about.

Too bad we don't have a follow-up story from Hubert Mizell, on how wrong he was.  This just proves that just because you have a computer and work for a newspaper doesn't make you an expert in football or in any sport.  Great find BullswinBucswin.

A new large library built in the center of campus using red brick and green accents to be the centerpiece of the campus.

I have finished the book, and it was a pleasure to read and to learn that Tony and I have both played against Vince Taylor.  Further, the mention of my high school in the book was a nice find, once again Tony, thanks for a very insightful book.

I was unable to attend the book signing, however, I do have a copy and so far it has been a very interesting book providing history of USF's basketballl program and players.  Thanks Tony for taking the time to write a book to enlighten us Bulls fans and for providing an insight on the program that only those on the inside could have provided.
