  2. I must say - I am in shock.  There must be some strange motive behind this column...

I had to laugh at his UCF jibes though... Hey, did you see where UCF has decided to give George O'Leary another extension -- an extension cord. Bada bing. . . . Hey, did you see where UCF has decided to give George O'Leary another extension -- a hair extension. Bada bang. . ..Hey, did you see where UCF has decided to give George O'Leary another extension -- an extension ladder. Bada bing, bada bang, bada bong!

  3. The boys on the field did me right today. . .

Unless the fact that Pitt is day 2 of my bachelor party gets us a win and unless the fact that Cuse is on my wedding day gets us a win ( Yes, the future Mrs. Kdawgy is a Bull also ), getting us to 7-5  - there will be no chance of bowling this year.

Here is to beating Cuse on my wedding day.

Pitt player suspended indefinitely after TD celebration

     Nov. 4, 2006

    CBS SportsLine.com wire reports

TAMPA, Fla. -- Pittsburgh tight end Darrell Strong was suspended indefinitely Saturday night after he apparently made an obscene gesture following a touchdown catch in a 22-12 loss at South Florida.

Strong was penalized for celebrating excessively when he approached the stands beyond the end zone after catching a 19-yard TD pass from Tyler Palko with 6:22 remaining in the fourth quarter.

"Our football program and university have very high standards and we will not tolerate the behavior Darrell Strong displayed today," coach Dave Wannstedt said in a statement released by the school. "Darrell told me he regrets his actions but he must also be accountable. As a result, I am suspending him indefinitely."

Strong apologized to South Florida and his teammates in a separate statement released by the school.

"I know my behavior hurt my team and embarrassed my university," he said. "That's not what being a Pitt football player is about and I want everyone to know I am truly sorry."

The 15-yard penalty was costly because Pitt, needing a 2-point conversion to cut its deficit to eight, had to start the extra-point play from the 18-yard line instead of the South Florida 3.

On the conversion try, Palko threw an incompletion.

"I'm disappointed in how we played today, but I won't be embarrassed," Wannstedt said. "I won't have our university be embarrassed."

why get married during football season?

About half of the people attending are wondering  if we could move the ceremony from Sanibel to Tampa for the game.  I offered to get married at the game, she said no.
