Thanks for mentioning the New Tampa Selmons.  I will NEVER EVER spend a minute in that place ever again, let alone spend any money.  Although, I do frequent their location in Westshore.  Its not an issue I have with the corporation but rather the loser manager who changed every decent TV to the UF game when the bar was clearly dominate by Bulls.  And, yes, the Bulls game was still on and was somewhere in the middle of the 3rd Quarter.  I almost forgot, it was an official watch party site for your USF Bulls, too.  I dont blame anyone for this except the manager.  

If you are a true Bull fan, then you should not go to that location.  

Please buy it legally and support USF.   It will be sold at the bookstore and some Publix locations as well.  Yes, you can purchase it online via the bookstore.

This was very well done and worth checking out (and buying).

Well, for starters, I read the article again and no mention of the Basketball Secretary making any comments.  Can you tell me where her quote is located?

Where`s the class?  Why dont you email the USF coaches to wish them luck?

The song from The Blues Brothers when they are being chased through the mall, etc.  This is a great song for a college basketball game.  I cant remember the name of the song though (Collin should know it).  Thanks for allowing us to make suggestions and keep up the great work.

WVU made a final four back when they had Jerry West.  USF is the only BIG EAST team to not make a Final Four.

Also, on another note, we will never be a "UNC" with low expectations from comments like yours.  I tend to think we can be better with the right team in place (which we are quite close to having at USF already).

This announcement was followed by a luncheon to kick off USF's 50th Anniversary.  Former University Presidents Castor, Borkowski, and Mackey where there as well as Grace Allen and Sam Gibbons.  Each of them spoke about their experience while at USF.  It was one of the best events related to USF that I have ever attended.  

A great moment was when President Borkowski presented a football to Lisa Lewis of the Alumni Association.  The football was signed by Bobby Bowden and it said (in summary) “we don’t need any more competition in Florida†– Bobby Bowden.  The football was presented from the President of FSU before a USF-FSU basketball game in 1991 back when serious discussions were taking place about starting a football team.  A great story and a overall wonderful event.  

Wow, another thread that is off topic and banters to some guy that is complaining about why he wont eat at a particular establishment.  I really dont care whether you go or not and I am not going to try and convince you otherwise.  

This is a step in the right direction.  Heck, the name is enough for me to get excited about since Fowler Ave is a major gateway to USF from various locations and that particular area could use all the help it can get.  I am sure the owners will continue to enhance the USF items inside but their menu is the focus.  Most casual fans will return for good food and not because they can stare at a old football helmet on a wall.  

Again, it is great that these businessmen stepped up and with all the complaints about that Gators place down the road, I consider this a win-win for all Bulls fans.

DMince, you have been type-casted with Midnight Mania and cant do much else.  

For those of you keeping score out there, past SGs (circa 2001-2003) did not enter the best SG thing because it is a waste of time to fill out the application.  The time you spend on it is better served working for the students.  Its a ranking completed by a magazine out of Gainesville to help sell ad space, etc.  

Maybe DMince will run for President as a grad student one day.

OK, we get the point, I nor DMince know you.  Thanks for clearing that up.  However, you made a post that I did not like so I decided to defend the actions of the hard working people in Athletics/Bulls Club.  You chose to complain about them.  I am happy that you now have your tickets.

You had the option to pick up at various locations or get in the mail.  So, if you picked the mail option and you arent home to pick them up, we all have a Jack Klompis-like next door neighbor to help you out and send them "express" to wherever you may be.  

Nice to see that some of you can now breath again knowing they have been mailed.  

So, whats the next complaint about the biggest period in USF football history?  Maybe you are upset that the team hotel isnt repainted green on the outside or maybe you are upset that we are playing in Charlotte in a bowl game on New Years Eve rather than playing the day after Christmas in Detroit OR NOT PLAYING AT ALL.  

Some of you complain on a regular basis.  That is your "right" but its sad to see the complaints given the greatness of this period in our university's history.

Yes, you are complaining.  Simple as that.  I am excited about the game, not when I will be able to hold the ticket.  Everyone knows what level you are sitting in so that is more than enough until we get closer to game time.  If you had a strong desire to sit with friends then you should have purchased your tickets together.

USF is working hard and you will get your tickets in plenty of time.

No feelings hurt but if it takes you over a week to see if you are sitting next to friends.  Then, well, I will keep the remainder of my editorial comments to myself.
