the college is actually slightly south of USF (southeast)
It's just a hair south. Almost due east.

It's nice when an alum can come back to coach, wish her a lot of good luck. Her comment in the article on the Athletics page did it for me..." My Heart Beats With Pride For USF". Now that's a cool comment/sentiment. BUT, there is one problem......
She will now be CJS. However, we already have a CJS. This is a quandary for sure... If a situation arises where CJS is at a football game coached by CJS or... CJS is at a volleyball game coached by CJS...I guess we will have to refer to these 2 coaches as CJSV and CJSF.. Confusing times at old USF...
Easy FCJS and VCJS

Oh you mean realists
It's funny, optimists know that they're optimists, but pessimists always insist that they are realists.

Can a player tweet them a link to this thread full of boosters?
You can tweet to KJ and let him do the rest.

Can someone explain difference between "booster" and "fan"?
A booster is someone that gives to the athletic department in any way, including season tickets.

Where they ended up should tell you a lot.

Did we hire a LB coach since his 1000% committed tweet?
No. Spencer was hired before Christmas and his tweet was from last Thursday. Of course, he's deleted it.

There's a rumor that while he was, "committed" he was entertaining other offers. Something CJS does not allow.

Rescinded the offer to our highest rated recruit? Maybe if he was a guy who didn't fit the scheme on offense or something, but it seems weird that we wouldn't have a spot for an OLB.
I have no idea, bit that was his reason for, "decommitting."

So, the coaching change was before is, "I'm 100% committed" tweet. I wonder if CJS rescinded the offer.

I could see where he'd want to transfer. This is from SI:
Rick Wells: Wells has been at Florida since 2016 and has yet to find the field on meaningful offensive snaps, but has contributed on special teams. Could 2020 be the year that he finally emerges in Florida's offense?
-
He's at UF. We did offer him. I don't see anywhere that he entered the transfer portal.
-
Not counting the camera guy, there are 14 in the meeting that you can see and one off to the right (you can only see his paperwork). We only have 11 on the coaching staff so far, does anyone know who the others are?
-
Looks like CJS is having his first staff meeting:

Since they would be "independent" I think it counts as a P5 victory.
That's not automatic and not every conference deems the independents the same way.
