Really good speech..wasted..this team has given up which is maybe the biggest reason to get rid of Skippy.

On an aside I played Hockey with Zimmerman's other son..and worked for the Panthers....he has a rep of being a real mother to work for...also he is jacked lol.

As you guys predicted I received a very short response from my rep (who seems like a good guy and is obviously in a tough spot). I could not agree with you guys more...the football program has been poorly run for a while now. Stan is doing the exact opposite with the basketball team (he is accountable when they lose, he has his players contact donors to thank them, he recruits and is passionate about what he does)....is he perfect..no...is he doing a great job compared to football..considering the state of affairs each coach walked into it is amazing.

I am actually ok with Woolard staying, I understand extending Skip at the time even though it obviously backfired.

Thanks Hem. I have e-mailed my rep and copied Bill McGillis. Anyone else contacted these guys? Would love to see what kind of responses we get.

Notice on that link there is no e-mail information for Doug W. I feel bad hammering my poor season ticket rep, but who else can we contact? I asked this weeks ago and got killed for it on here by some..but again what can we do? Between the conference stuff and the sad state of the football program..this is the worst.

I have been saying this for almost 2 seasons...why am I paying these prices for this product....ugh it sucks.

I will donate because it is for the school...but if Holtz is around no way I can justify paying for season seats. I cannot believe it has come to this...what a shame.

Good

Collins appears to be improving in health. Looked great dribbling low and dropping off nice passes..also hit some shots...said on postgame he is about 70%.

Big Jordan got some quality minutes, actually caught the ball relatively well and moved around better then I expected (still not great). Cannot help but root for the kid.

LeDay was very active and will be a good player for us, probably will be leaned on a bit more this year then Heath would have wanted because of our size.

Bad

White had a tough night. Missed a wide open two handed slam, turned the ball over and seemed to be the only big that could not get anything done...hope he can be useful

Crowd was pathetic...I know some are heading to Miami, but wow it was quiet in there.

Ugly

Last 5 minutes of the game (complete scrub time with not much hustle).

Vega...how impressed are you overall with this class and what do you think Heath will do with the two ships for next year?

Basketball has the best season ever...then has kids from the team personally call to thank season ticket holders for coming out....football team....crickets (team has 6-7 times the number of guys)

Basketball loses a tough home opener and the coach and players own up to it..apologize for the effort and vow to bounce back...football team...says how close they were

Basketball coach drums up interest and has fun with students (note Seth used to do this also)....football...nothing

Basketball turns in best recruiting class ever....football....tbd but not looking great.

Would love to hear from Doubledown to appease the restless here....hope everything is well still.

Agreed...thanks DD...I think AW will be even more of a fan favorite for sticking with us when times are tough..says alot about him.

Good thoughts guys..even those who were not huge fans of BJ have to admit the kid played his ass off every week and led us to some great memories. The FSU and ND trips will always be two of my favorite sport memories....wish it ended better for him.

Missed my call from Zach Leday, but got a cool message. Line of the night goes to my wife who deadpanned, "Maybe someone from the football team will call you to apologize next."

How can we be any worse next season...just saying.

Agree w Bullwinkle 100%. Way to represent with class above some interesting circumstances. You would think they would cherish their first All-American...I know we do here.

Trying to be objective here...what can we as season ticket holders/donors/and or fans do about the current state of the program?

Does e-mailing DW or Judy help or hurt the situation?

Not donating or donating but not buying football tickets next season?

Or do we just have to take it? I hope there are people on Fowler Ave up in the middle of the night worrying about this once proud program, but somehow I think not.

Can't remember ever being this depressed/uniterested on game day...love the enthusiasm on here...but man this team has killed alot of our spirits

This reminds me of that Jimmy Fallon Fever Pitch movie..him and his buddies are devastated after a loss and the team is out having a nice dinner enjoying themselves. They are irate that they care more then the players.

Granted these are kids and I am working on not letting my emotional happiness depend on the outcome of these games...but the losses are having a negative effect on everyone.

Wow...seems silly to have such a talent and not use him to your advantage. Cannot wait to see him in Green and Gold...think he can start early..expect good things, but naturally some growing pains...especially if he is receiving such limited coaching this season. Good for him for playing hard and keeping as good an attitude as possible.

Couldn't he walk on instead of using a scholly? Just wondering.
