This was the first one I was able to attend.  I had a great time and it was fun to sit with some of the players and see them cut up and have fun.  The program is put together very well and the videos really get you pumped up.  September yet?

For those of you who went to the Pinellas Alumni Chapter's basketball social the other day, Tony was in attendance and spoke to the crowd. Hopefully some of you were able to attend.

Matt, I guess you don't need me to make the copies that I made.  (4 separate quarters).

I agree.  Service was much faster this time around, and there was always a waitress nearby if you needed something.  Big improvement over past years.

Just so everyone knows, I spoke with the owner about the service, or lack thereof.  He knows and has been doing his best to find the right people.  He actually had the wait staff prepared for yesterday then 3 people don't show up.  He can't help that.  He has been hiring and firing people as needed until he can find people that want to work.  Apparently college kids don't want to stick to a schedule in the restaurant/bar business.  Go figure.  

So, if you are ever in there and don't like the service, let Zimbo know.  On the other hand, let him know, or a manager, when you have good service.  He is trying.  

Jen and I came there with the baby it was packed so we lef. No place to sit other than at the bar and the wife was not going to allow her 6 onth old daughter to sit at the bar : (I saw no problem with it) That is what I get for working till 4:30 and not getting to the ring till 5: 15  :'(

I thought I saw you walk in then I couldn't find you.  I wish you would have seen me in the back, we had a big table and would have gladly let your wife and child sit down.  I was in the back with Mutt who was wearing his horns.  Surprised you didn't see us.  Sorry you had to leave.

You should write a letter to the editor telling them about this.

Doug, we have always talked about how the local papers don't seem to give USF better coverage then the other schools.  Brett and Greg have both said they don't have any control over it.  The editors are the one that screw us over.  I get more mad at the Times since they are the official USF paper.  They should be helping spread the word about USF by putting them on the front page every time.  But hey, that's just me.  I don't subscribe to either.  I read on-line or read someone else's paper if I find one.  

Good crowd.  Sorry you couldn't make it.  Unfortunately, 1010 was the radio station there since the sports chix broadcast from there on Wed. so Josh Newberg and 1470 couldn't be there.  The owner told me that he had the staff prepared for the crowd the 3 waitresses didn't show up.  So, the service was off a little, but not bad compared to times past.  The girls that did show up worked their ass off.  Saw Coach McCarney there but not Canales.  Great time.

Collin, the committee chose a company called Dan Mar based on past events and references.  I know you and I had talked about casino fund raisers in the past but I was hoping you could come and enjoy this evening rather than working since the dealers won't get tipped since it is a fund raising event.

I've met him on a few occassions and even hung out with him in B'ham for the bowl at some bar.  Very casual guy but I have heard he is a different guy on the field.  Which is good if he lights a fire under the team to get them to win. Nice to hear he is already making improvements.  Cant' wait to see a new field someday with (hopefully) a BE Champ Banner hanging on the outfield fence.  

Did he know he had a trespassing warning out for him?

I don't think that would be common knowledge, unless someone told him that explicitly.

Great job Bulls Club.  As I stated earlier, this looks like it will be a great annual event.  Add it to the list of great annual events.
