Not be a braggadocios as DS, but I called this out a few days ago.  Of course it was based on publicly available information as well as some "source" information I was provided separately.

I wish MK would have ejected sooner.  I know he was in a tough place, but it was a safe assumption he was getting played.

If MK is too nice of a guy and doesn't have the ability to read people and the situation, then he should not be making these types of decisions. I know that hindsight is 20/20 but this is not the first whiff for MK consulting

This falls on mk, he took the reigns on the hiring process.... Again. If he can't negotiate a good hire then he should delegate that responsibility. It's on him.

Anyone else but Jim Levitt would be considered a failure. He's the only person left that can add some excitement back to the program. 

It's to the point where the only way Michael Kelly would be able to save his career and avoid a complete fanbase revolt is to hire Jim Levitt. 

What an absolute clown show this is turning into. From the poorly timed tweets to the multiple misses on home run hires, the athletic department needs to be gutted from the inside out. If it's not someone playing today, then make the GD announcement! 

If MK passed on Tom Herman then there better be a darn good reason why. If FAU was able to out maneuver USF during this coaching carousel, then I'll lose all faith in Michael Kelly.

Now, MK has the last straw to grasp.  Can he do it?  It has to be done MK. No other option compares.  

After getting played by DS, I can see MK turtle shelling and going the safe route. I seriously doubt that he has the fortitude to make the difficult, but correct decision.

Not that I'm aware of, and they are certainly not keeping their lips sealed by letting contract offer details leak. Could be a positive for USF. 

If it's tressel then why are we waiting to announce it? Doesn't add up.
