And if we can get the poaching school to schedule a one-and-one as a condition in said coach's contract, I think that would also take the sting out of things.
Why a one for one? Let's make it a two for one, meaning two games at our home, one at theirs.
That would be more of an impediment than money in poaching our future coaches.

Harlan is overrated so far. His major hire so far was COA.
Antigua is a bust, but at least he did well with baseball

I'm hoping the new head coach keeps Mathies and Kelly.

after we pay off those dudes, what will we do with the extra $$$?
Could use it for one hell of a going away party for Willie!

Dungy should coach the bowl game and we'll call it even

Dear Oregon. You can yank Woodie but please leave my Willie alone.

If Taggart is Oregon's first choice, then what's the holdup? I think more is at play here then we may think.
Obviously Taggs is weighing a counteroffer from USF, one that includes a lifetime of unlimited Publix subs for him and his family.
They will probably announce this new contract when they unveil the renderings for Publix stadium.

The majority of his collegiate and professional careers have been spent outside the Bay. He is the exact opposite of #BayStayed.
I believe USF did not have a football team when he graduated high school. He did come back to play against USF though

Lane would be my first choice... he's been humbled in my opinion and wants to get back to a HC position.....
i would expect zero drop off on the offense and I bet get a few of Alabamas assistant coaches
If Taggart leaves Kiffin would be a great get. May even be an upgrade over Taggs.
I get that Taggart is just doing what's in his best interests and do not begrudge him for that, but it's going to get old fast if he does this every year.
If he does leave for Oregon, I would like him to do it soon so we can grab Kiffin before he heads to Houston or elsewhere.

Is the TBT going to send him to Oregon?
Before I chip in, I need to know if this is for a one way or round trip ticket...

Buy 2 season ticket, attend all home games, enter the stadium 30 minutes before kickoff, stay for the entire game (check out after the alma mater is played) and win a Viking River Cruise for 2 or a weeks vacation to Disney World for your entire family.
Attend all home and road games and a Sun Doll accompanies you on the vacation if you wish

We have had this discussion before. Time to think outside the box with more promotions.
Every business that rents a luxury box has is put into a drawing for a lunch date with Judy (must be present to win)
Every student that attends is put into a drawing to win a $500 best buy gift card (must be present to win)
Hold classes at Raymond James immediately before or after games
Allow USF student groups to volunteer for shifts at concession stands to raise money for their organizations (only 1 hr at a time so the rest of the time they can stay and watch the game)
Can we somehow work in a Sun Doll promotion?
Do things like this until we can build our own OCS

Better home games, and winning. Pretty simple really. We aren't going to get the home games with our conference so we need to schedule P5 teams. OCS would help, but won't draw an extra 10k, maybe 5k or so.
I would be happy if we brought an extra 5k fans to our games...would rather have more, but hey

Temple isn't all that. I mean they beat the gnats on a last-second play that was pretty low percentage; they beat the odds and won.
Cincy, Cincy is bad.
UConn is a 50/50 shot.
ECU is also a good 50/50 shot. They have a coach who will do anything to win, so that's something.
As Stalone puts it: Nothing is over!

While we're thanking former coaches, I'd like to thank Chuck B. for leading UCF's defensive efforts last year.

Better than ours. They DESTROYED us in one quarter and then we lost to Temple.
Don't forget their impressive 43 pt loss to Louisville

3 losses to top 25 teams, 2 of which to the #3 and #5 team. I mean those are quality losses.

Not saying we should be ranked, but a joke that a 5-3 fl state is ranked top 20

Think we'll do this when we beat UCF this year? Don't we have a trophy now?
