The Strunk & White warriors are surprisingly silent on UC's grammar screw up. Not one joke about "Please have your team to direct inquiries to our General Counsel" on twitter. McMurphey, Auman and Knight are all out of chastising giggles apparently.

He must be including individual titles as well. Team titles for UCONN sponsored sports I count 10 Women's Basketball titles, 3 Men's Basketball titles. and three titles from sports the Big 12 doesn't even sponsor.
I think he's counting ice fishing, cross-country snow mobile, and shovel racing.

At least we got votes:

Do you guys realize what the schedule would look like as an independent? All of the conferences are going to 9 conference games. The ACC (and maybe others) will mandate 1 or 2 P5 games. If you add in the obligatory opening patsy, Harlan will be traveling the country begging for games. It won't be pretty.

I could swear we've had more than this. Maybe because some are rated differently depending on the service?

It’s also where you’ll find the Football Bowl Subdivision’s best-kept secret.
The University of South Florida Bulls — shhhhhh! — have a team well worth watching. It probably sounds ridiculous to mention USF as a legitimate national-title contender, but you know what? The Bulls could be favored to win 11 of their 12 regular-season games.
QuoteUSF could well be the thinking man’s surprise team for 2016. Already, Ralph D. Russo, lead college football writer for The Associated Press, has projected USF over Houston in the American Athletic Conference’s championship game.

Joey just busted a tweet out saying you spelled report wrong.

This sums all of it up. Iowa State's writer is tweeting/reporting that schools are physically making their pitch to the Big 12 today. He has this information coming directly from the president of the university. JK's talking about which WWE wrestlers should be in the Olympics.
Yeah, seems like "it's my job" only applies when he's trashing the school.

Wow! Joey's mom is surly!

Hi Mrs. Knight. Thanks for joining in. We're sorry for being mean to your son.

Just by reading his tweets and following the effort trends in his work you can tell Joey hates his job covering USF
Just look at his profile pic. It's obvious that someone opened the door mid-dump. I'm just happy that they cropped the lower half off.

I love that guys like J.P. Peterson (who gets fired from TV) goes on radio ridiculing a typo but will defend FSU when they cover up a sexual assault. As much as I hope USF fans get better at promoting the school I hope we never get so blind as to do that. Or this:

Even in his article Fennelly says it may have been a draft.
It was a draft that USF gave out as a response to a FOI request. Greg, as well as someone at USF, told me that. Greg's argument is that they should not have given it out like that. My position is that JK is a big Richard for abusing the trust even if he is not officially bound to show any. If he was covering any decent sized school he would be cut off from access.

Sorry. Richard Tomey. Haha.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they don't care, because as much as we read into it; the media has absolutely no say in what happens. University presidents and Athletic Directors know who they are dealing with in these expansion talks, they aren't reading Twitter or caring about typos.
Good points and I agree. But... Some secretary or possibly an intern typed the draft more than likely. They probably feel like ****. Maybe even worrying about his or her job. It sucks to have a bunch of men on twitter ganging up to use you as fodder for their sagging egos.

All of the materials are actually really awesome.
Exactly. And our local "writers" chose to smear feces all over it like chimps because it got them a few extra comments on their twitter feed. And I would love to hear from Genshaft or Harlan. Why aren't they out in from of this. I guess nobody wants howling apes hurling crap on them.

There were some rumors that **** Tomey was brought in to help guide an inexperienced Taggart. Antigua is even greener so I wonder if this is similar. I could be way off base on both counts though.

There has to be some agreement amongst all of the USF writers or something because Twitter is full of Fennely bash articles about it, Joey retweeting, Auman finding more typos in other publications and many of the other guys joining in. They have to all have said "we are gonna laugh it off amongst ourselves and make a bit about it," right?
I just feel like I'm taking crazy pills. This was an FOIA request sent by the Times, in which they were required to send ALL publications including drafts, they received a draft, TWEETED it for the world to see and now are making fun of it as if it was the finished product? Like what the ****?! It was a draft! THAT YOU FORCED A REQUEST ON! The real one with graphics doesn't have any typos at all!!!
Greg's being his usual dickish self acting like he's just reporting facts when he's being disingenuous in bringing the media guide into it like it's a piece of literature. I bet I can find a typo in almost every media guide in the country. Some of the other guys are friends with McMurphy from back when he got fired for unethical behavior. It really showed up when they all came to his defense when he picked the fight with Levitt. Even Duemig is one of his protectors.

What pisses me off is that the misspelling was obviously a simple typo not something like mixing up they're/there/their. I do that all day long and my degree is in literature. And I write code where it really does matter. To see these big richards giggling back and forth like they just scooped the NY Times at the expense of probably a secretary who may lose her or his job makes me sick. I bet I can dig through McMurphy's stuff and find somewhere he follows an intransitive verb with a noun.

Great, we can expect an application to the B12 from the National University of Singapore any time now.
Hopefully USF doesn't apply to move up and join

Realistically I think NIU but I would love to see him bust a few like he did against Western Carolina when he got 275. Honestly I don't think Towson will be able to sop him but hopefully he'll only need to play the first half.

Mack is 309 yards away from being the all-time USF rusher. What game do you think he'll get it? I'm going with the opener against Towson if they leave him in long enough.
Gunner Kiel lost the starting job

We play them week 5 so unless he wins it back we'll be planning against Hayden Moore. Pretty big shakeup considering Kiel's hype coming out of high school.
