I believe this is who would have made the 14 team playoff from the 2023 season based on the week 15 CFP ranking and assuming this was the 2026 season with an expansion to 14 teams.
ACC - FSU & Louisville
B1G - Michigan, Washington, Ohio State
Big XII - Oklahoma State & Arizona
SEC - Texas, Alabama, Georgia
G5 - Liberty
At Large - Oregon (B1G), Missouri (SEC), Penn State (B1G)
A couple of things stand out as to why this proposal isn't in the best interest of the CFP; 1)Both Big XII qualifiers were ranked 14 or lower, and Oklahoma State has 4 loses (1 being in the Big XII Championship), and 2) one of the P2 (the SEC), missed out on having another team being in the playoff by giving the ACC & Big XII 2 auto bids.

Charlotte is away, no?
It is.
That site is not associated with us.

Terrible format in my opinion. Didn't the ACC and Big XII not have 2 teams that would have qualified for a 14 team playoff this past season?

I am seeing ~286 non-resale, non-general admission tickets on ticketmaster. Looks like the 300 level isnt being sold?
That will open when the 200 level and GA tickets are purchased.

He did have some pretty big catches for them, especially in the playoffs.
I guess the good thing is that I longer have a reason to watch the Chiefs play, so I won't have to see Travis Kelce's girlfriend any longer.

Let's be real. Old people are the only ones who can afford court-side season tickets.
That isn't entirely true.
There are a handful of courtside season ticket members who sit across from the visiting bench who are under 40. There is also a young group of Iron Bulls who are waiting to purchase courtside seats.
The cost per floor seat for the season is $1,500. Divide that over the 18 games and that averages out to $83.33 per ticket per game. That cost also includes the arena club buffet and parking for all home games. Pretty darn good deal at that cost.

The Giants can certainly use him.

The main difference from these current pages compared to those 1st 8 pages is that USF never stood a chance at getting the call up to the power conferences. Now it seems a hell of lot more likely that USF is going to get called up pretty soon
Not sure what you're smoking/drinking while posting that, but it must be pretty strong.

The Athletic basically had the same article about the Big XII and their NET manipulation. Very interesting read.

I just went back through this thread and the first 8 an half pages are comedy gold.

what is the limit of student tickets distributed? is there a limit?
I am not sure there is a limit.
I would think that the ticket ops office will provide more to the students if they feel they have to.

There are about 600 seats left in the 200. Also a good deal of GA ticket still left.
Biggest positive right now is that there are over 4,000 student ticket requests, which is more than both the FAU and SMU games.

This is the thread that started our turn around!
Go Bulls!
Didn't we lose the very next game after this thread began?

Been hearing tickets are going fast for the final home game of the season against Tulane. Hopefully that one sells out to give this team many thanks!
You must be talking to yourself.

problem is it is not the best 68 teams that get in. 32 spots go to AQ's many of which are not even a top 100 team.
Very true. I should have just said we are a tournament worthy team.

if it happens it will be because of our poor OOC schedule, and losses to bad teams. Could we get an at large, I guess its possible but I'll believe it when I see it.
The losses were 3 and half months ago. Yes, the OOC was weak, but that doesn't seem to hamper teams from the power leagues who do the same thing. There was an article in The Athletic over the weekend at how the Big XII is taking advantage of the NET by doing exactly this.
The bottom line is that we are one of the best 68 teams going right now. 19 wins in 20 games attests to this.

Losses to St. John’s, LSU and Miss St. may not hurt as much as Maine, CMU, Western something.
Scheduling is weak. Losing home pay games is bad.
Let’s just enjoy the ride as someone previously requested.
This has got to be the first discussion ever around NET rankings for the men’s basketball team. (Can’t remember if that soft schedule Gregory team was just before NET or not).
When we’re ready to play better teams we’ll need to schedule them. No one expected the need to be this season.
That shouldn’t matter. We play in the same league, we beat them at their place, and have won 6 more conference game than they have. I’m not sure what else you’d need to determine who is better.

The fact that North Texas is still ahead of us shows you how illogical this system is.

Missouri ended up in a better conference than the B1G.

It most certainly does, which is unfortunate.
This will be the toughest game of the season
