I have been behind Willie Taggart based on the lack of talent he inherited and recruiting prowess.

However, watching today's Maryland game, Willie Taggart needs to be fired ASAP. He is just not Division I coaching material.

The Offense shows no improvement at all and the play calling is terrible. The lob to Dillon last week in end zone was pathetic as was the 3rd and 2 WR screen to Adams today. Is this the best Taggart, Kinnan and Hope could come up with? Pathetic!

The Defense is equally as bad. Tom Allen's defense is just a gimmick and gets no pass rush at all. Terrible effort and play by the DB's too (Robbins , Abraham, etc.)

Fire Taggart, let's start anew!

I think the Base Defense is a 4-2-5, not a 4-5-2 LOL

In reviewing the 2015-16 Men's Basketball roster on USF website, I noticed that G Jahmal McMurray and F Luis Santos were added, but not F Tulio Da Silva or transfer F Angel Nunez.

Are there any issues with getting Da Silva and Nunez in?

With Holston's injury and Shawn Smith not enrolling, USF really needs to add a Guard to play immediately!

I thought the game was on ESPN2 tonight. This is brutal! so much for building excitement in the Women's NCAA Tournament when you can't even watch.

Men's Basketball is allowed a total of 13 scholarships, not 12.

I am not going to pay to watch them get blown out. USF is boring to watch and plays with no heart.

3 Pt shooting is once again horrible. Holston was supposed to be the answer but was 1 for 8 from 3 pt land today. He is terrible. Collins plays nothing like he did as a Freshman.

Perry's career may be in jeopardy or so it seems.

This team is simply beyond terrible and unwatchable. Each time I turn the game on, USF is getting blown out. Hence, I don't watch for very long because it is painful and pathetic.

I have not seen anything positive that Antigua has done this year. We have become even a bigger train wreck under the former Globetrotter's guidance

The doubts continue to grow. I really don't see anything positive Antigua has accomplished. Simply unwatchable!

Further, out of our last 7 consecutive losses, 5 are by more than 10 points. That is NOT COMPETITIVE at all!

I don't see any positives from Antigua so far.

We are 7-17 now, and I am extremely disappointed in the Men's Basketball Program. I expected better!

I had my doubts about Antigua when hired and the results so far have not changed my views. The play he drew up at end of regulation vs. Tulsa was brutal!

Competitive doesn't really matter to me, as we get close but can't finish strong. Win a few games and my view will change.

Antigua is striking out on a lot of recruits also. Very disappointed.

I was not enthusiastic about the hiring of Orlando Antigua. As we are headed to another loss (now 7-17), my doubts are growing.

His recruiting is not all that impressive so far either.

Disappointed in the results so far to say the least!

Why is Holston such a terrible 3 Point shooter? Last year all I heard is what a great outside shooter he was.

He is just horrible.

What does USF need to do to get a successful 3 point shooter?

I believe Nate Ferguson attended Sickles HS this year.

Why is Jeff Odom reporting Freedom HS and I also see Gaither HS as the title? Accurate reporting would be nice!

It's over, would have been nice if Antigua could have drawn up a competent play to end Regulation.

Another loss, so disappointing, can't Antigua coach Defense to prevent the slew of 3 pointers...BRUTAL!

Vega, thanks for all of your excellent input. In High School football, the trend is for players to graduate early and enroll in January.

However, McMurray has already graduated but re-classified to 2015 which delays his enrollment for a year. Who does Sunrise Academy even play (i.e. - other high schools, junior colleges)?

High School Basketball always seems a little sketchy with all of these "academies" or private schools (i.e. - Oldsmar Christian, etc.) created for basketball.

Unfortunately, with Ben Howland, there does appear to be personality and off court baggage that USF should stay away from.

I would recommend you read the Sports Illustrated article dated February 2012 titled "Not the UCLA Way" which is rather alarming.

To correct your reply above, Ben Howland was a very POOR recruiter for several years at UCLA until he hired a successful AAU Coach in 2012 which led to a high recruiting ranking in his final season.  The several prior seasons were very POOR recruiting wise.

Stay away from Ben Howland!!!!!!!!

Now, I would recommend Buzz Williams or as a fall back John Pelphrey !

I am not a fan of Ben Howland at all and there is NO WAY USF should hire him.

1) He is not known as a good recruiter. The new Basketball coach needs to able to recruit the state of Florida and Howland is not from this state nor is this a strong point of his.

2) he is a micro manager who basically lost control of the team at UCLA.

There was a 2012 article in Sports Illustrated which was very alarming. I tried to post the link to it but was unable to do so.

Wow, all I can say is what a disaster last night was for USF Football and what a disappointment Taggart is.

No matter what excuse Taggart gives, the performance last night was inexcusable and unacceptable. Taggart talked for 9 months about "Getting On The Bus" and all the excitement imploded in less than 3 hours.

I really have to question the talent and knowledge of any coach (i.e. - Taggart, Holtz) that would name Matt Floyd his starter. Floyd should never have started the opener as he is simply brutal!

Next, all of the talented commitments Taggart has lined up will start jumping ship.

Get to work already Willie, you are overrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
