Wow, I see a lot of conspiracy theorists. You really think USF is ranked lower than UCF because they have graduates working at EA? Are you serious? They have people from all around the country working at EA, from craploads of different colleges.

Really, they are in orlando and have a partnership with UCF's computer graphics arts and gaming program. A large percentage of staff at the company came from UCF. UCF is ranked higher every year even when they have lost the majority of their games and don't beat ranked teams. No conspiracy, just facts. UCF'ers cannot beat us on the field, so they would rather take jabs on the internet and via games. Heck, read their boards....

USF has been a better program the 4 times we have played UCF, even in off years for us.

Really, I'm not so sure that the USF ranking is that incorrect as much as they consistently rank UCF far higher than it should be.

I was playing the demo's week 10 dynasty and it had us 4-4 but 3-1 in the Big East....I don't see how we lose more then 3 non-conf games this year.......

EA here in Orlando is full of UCF people. Believe what you want but that's a large reason as to why USF gets crapped on in the game. Recall that video for NCAA '12 where USF was getting the crapped kicked out of it by mousetown u.

The ranking is incorrect when UCF is ranked ahead. Bottom line, we kicked the crap out of them 4 times. We play in a tougher conference. We have had wins (more than 1) against ranked teams. We beat FSU, UM, Auburn, etc.. UCF has done none of that. They should never, ever, not ever be ranked ahead of USF for any reason until they are worth a crap. They have proven nothing. BE will spank them, even without a few of the tougher opponents who have moved on.

Incidentally, the NCAA team isn't all that large. Even the Maddon team is only about 50 folks, if I recall correctly. That includes testers and artists, etc. The NCAA team was smaller until the past year.

Bottom line is that there are probably a half dozen people or less that decide and/or review the team and player ratings. As long as the Crimson Tide and Longhorn's of the world are happy, EA management isn't going to force anyone ot make sure all the ratings are realistic and unbiased.
