Speaking of C-DOA, if the top feeders in that conference stink like a sewer rat, what does that make the teams that can't even win in that conference?

I will not be hard on the ACC for having an off year just because we (the BE) where in the same boat as them last year.

I think the Big East situation and the ACC's situation is a little different.  They were supposed to be the next big super conference for football.  They raped another conference and stole their three best teams (thank god they did but still, doesn't make it right).  The ACC is not suppoed to be in this sitaution as they took the parts they needed to lift them to arguably the best conference in college football.

The big east, through no fault of its own was left with nothing and defenseless when everyone starting trying to take away their bcs status as well as their credibility as a good football conference.  The Big East was left with zero tools and seemingly nothing to save them.

karma is a bee-atch though, since it looks like the Big East is on the rise with so many of our best teams being loaded with so many young players it only looks better for them.  The ACC though, I'm sure will not stay down for long.  They have too many teams with too many resources.  Don't shed too many tears they'll be back soon enough.  In the meantime though I will rejoice with each and every ACC football loss (Not as much as every SEC loss though, I'm enjoying watching that holier than thou football conference take its share of knocks this bowl season too)

You don't realize how close the Big XII came to being 0-8.

1. Last-second FG for Oklahoma State over a 6-6 Alabama team with no coach

2. Texas wasn't ready to play and beat a 6-6 Iowa team by two points

3. Texas Tech had to rally from 38-7 down to beat a 6-6 Minnesota team, who then fired their coach

Meanwhile, A&M got drilled by 35 and Kansas State lost by 27. And of course Oklahoma lost to Boise.
