Andy I agree. Right now we all are proud to be Bulls. Why bring up the worst part of the Athletic Dept at USF. Lets all enjoy the Bowl game. There will be plenty of time this season to talk USF basketball.

Does anyone think it would be ridiculous to give Reggie Kohn a shot at a heading coaching gig? The kid can relate to today's athlete (he's still young himself). USF could be cheap and give him the lowest salary in the conference. And Reg has proven he can coach (at least on one level). There's other aspects of coaching that can be delegated... let him coach and the other crap can be delegated around the program. He will get his coaching gig in due time. How about we jump the gun and give him shot. Leavitt was relatively unknown when he came here.

Sherriff believe me anything is better than the current coach we have, but I dont like the idea.  

I look at it this way.  If I am a highly recruited high school player I am going to go to play for a university for all of the following reasons: (in order)

1) coach

2) university/program

3) the city and night life

4) academics (i always had my priorities messed up)

5) weather (really doesnt matter too much but helps)

With #1 being the coach i would need either a highly respected coach or a hell of a salesman.  I dont think too many people outside of Tampa and Florida would really know who reggie is, and we have to recruit out of state in bball.  I dont know about how well he can sell a program or an idea but I dont think we should give him his start in the Big East when he is very wet behind the ears, at the college level of course.  I wouldnt mind bringing him in again under a new coach, where Im sure he wouldnt leave.  It obvious players and employess of the university dont like mac.  All we can do is wait and watch the inevitable happen at the end of the season and see who the new guy coming in is going to be.  CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Anyone would be better then mac.  When is enough enough?  Put a fork in the program because it is done!  And crm clearly is burning it beyond rescuing.  Is Dean Smith available?  It is going to take a big time name to bring life back into this program and resurrect even a fraction of support.

I hope RMC recovers... but my green and gold glasses are awful foggy right now. After reading the blog this summer, I said I would be on the RMC bus... but **** coach... I don't want to be on a bus without brakes on a windy mountain road. Let's get it going before all hope is lost!
