South Florida to add Texas series?

South Florida is negotiating a three-game contract with Texas, which would bring the Longhorns to Orlando in 2007 for the Bulls' first game in their new stadium.

In return, South Florida would play two games at Texas.

Although South Florida has four non-conference games scheduled for 2007, a game against Tennessee probably will be bought out. South Florida would hope to replace that game with Texas.

Texas has not yet scheduled games for the first three weeks of September in '07.

Friggin Morons...hope they fix this before too long...confusing us with UCF?

Partisans spend a great deal of time trying to figure out a newspaper's agenda, and with the Orlando Sentinel, it's no different. Conservatives plaster their cars with "Don't believe the Orlando Sentinel" bumper stickers; liberals wonder where the hell Mark Silva gets off taking cheap, ill-informed potshots at John Kerry and Howard Dean. But in truth, our local rag is totally milquetoast, going well out of its way not to upset the apple cart too much. Nothing illustrates that weakness better than a quick read of the St. Petersburg Times, a newspaper renowned for in-depth coverage of state news and intelligent, insightful editorials. Why the contrast? The Times is owned by the Poynter Institute, a nonprofit that strives for journalistic excellence, while the Sentinel is owned by the expense-cutting, ever-expanding Tribune Company. In other words, one is committed to integrity and the other to the bottom line.

usf hasnt distinguished themselves from those slugs east of tampa

both are stuck in medocrity

Ridiculous.  Who writes this crap?  You'd think they could get someone competent.

I'm not asking for a compelling story or something, just people who have enough intelligence to get their facts straight consistently.  I don't care if the article was talking about SMU playing Hofstra, if you're going to be a professional you have to get it right.
