Can't wait for this game.  Not making the trip to Miami but get to watch it High Def on my brother-in-law's big screen.

Welcome to the board FerdinandTheBull.  You must have the greatest brother-in-law around to let you come over to his house for the game. 8)

Perhaps it is to USF's disadvantage that Miami's next two opponents are Duke and Temple. No 'lookahead' or 'sandwich game' here.

This needs to PJ's break out game.....

Coker's defense has done some dominating of its own. But he acknowledged that the injury situation among the UM defensive backs, who have proved tremendously talented and will be needed to neutralize South Florida's passing game, is getting more than worrisome.

The Hurricanes already had lost starting free safety Anthony Reddick, cornerback Glenn Sharpe and cornerback Carlos Armour with serious knee injuries, but Saturday they lost cornerbacks Marcus Maxey and Randy Phillips.

Maxey said he twisted his left ankle, and Phillips appears to have badly hurt his left knee and likely will miss the South Florida game and possibly more beyond that.

''We have good players who aren't out there,'' Coker said. ``We probably won't be able to redshirt anybody. I don't feel good about [Phillips] for this game. He was splinted and was on crutches when he left [the game]. We'll evaluate him more [after] the MRI.''

Coker said he would consider moving receivers Terrell Walden and Tanard Davis, who used to play cornerback, back to the secondary.

He said cornerback Rashaun Jones, who has played very little this season, missed Saturday's game to attend his uncle's funeral.
