I've got a party to go to from 5PM until whenever, and will probably duck out sometime around 8PM.  Is there anyone that's not going to the game that could send me text messages with updates?

The Canadian Contingency can.  Of course it will be an International text (Don't worry about that we get lots of free texting to the US) so you will have to translate from Canadian to English.  ;D

What sort of updates do you want and how often?

I used to have the ESPN alerts when I had the ESPN Insider years ago.

I'm sorry to say I won't be there... I am currently sitting in a hotel in Orlando waiting for my wife to finish the first of a two day training program... woohooo 2 days of baby sitting in a hotel room AND having to give up my USF and Bucs tickets!!!

I have to go to a wedding tonight, so I won't be there, either.  I'm TiVo'ing the game to watch late this evening.  

I have an MSN Direct watch that sends scores to my watch, which is normally ideal (especially living here on the west coast since most of our basketball games happen during the commute home and I can't get them on the radio in San Francisco).  Unfortunately, for some reason the only college game it's currently sending to my watch is the Tennessee/Fl*rida game.  It's really pissing me off...
