For those complaing about the black on the helmets

I just realized that we already have black on an official logo:

Why the change to black?  Any thoughts?

Isn't the iconic "U" also 'fatter'? If you look at tape from last year, although the helmet is a considerable improvement from the "iron bull", it still needed some tweaking. The greater contrast looks better on the tube.

It doesn't matter!  I've got one of last year's helmets sitting about ten feet away from me, and I can't tell what color the U or facemask is from here.  It is sitting right next to a Chicago Bears helmet that has a black facemask, and they look exactly the same from 10 feet away.  Quit obsessing about trivial things!

isnt there another school in FL who uses the colors BLACK AND GOLD??  How original can we be?? I loved the Green and Gold.. School colors on helmets make sense, not another school's colors!!
