  1. As bad as our attendance is its still a lot better then "Da U"... I also like how a Miami fan lectures some one on typos when Miami fans go around slinging out stupid shiz like "Da U".

Your fans are not showing up to games because they know that the admin will impose a self made bowl ban to hope to avoid the death penalty which is on the table per ESPN. Without the chance of actually winning a bowl or championship then your entire season becomes one big exhibition game.

Really? The attendance at your last home game was 36,190. Miami's last attendance figure was 38,869. And remember, USF and its half a million students is right down the road from the stadium. As for typos, when you see me type "da", point it out. Until then, work on your temper.

Miami fans didn't show up to games in 2001, when Miami had arguably the best team of all time. So your theory about fans reacting to the ban is inaccurate.

  2. If the death penalty was not an option on the table then Miami would not be doing a self imposed bowl band. The self imposed bowl band has all but bankrupted Miami athletics. Its hard to pay the bills when less then 15,000 people show up each week.

The death penalty was not and is not an option. Not sure where that even comes from.

It's a "ban", not a "band". In any event, what does a bowl "band" have to do with finances? The ACC splits bowl revenue. And what does a bowl "band" have to do with empty seats? Bowls are played at neutral sites.

And why on earth would a USF fan be talking about attendance in the first place?

  3. What will be very funny is when the NCAA drops the hammer down on them despite their self imposed sanctions.

What is the precedent for that?

The NCAA can do whatever it wants to do. If Miami is hoping to fall on its sword to avoid the death penalty then they might succeed in avoiding that punishment, but they are not getting off Scott free. The NCAA will still lay down the hammer on Miami and it will not be a soft hit.

    Death penalty? LOL. Stopped reading.
