Yeah, Urban Meyer, Pete Carroll, Bob Stoops, Brian Kelley, Mack Brown, Bobby Bowden, Steve Spurrier, Les Miles, Nick Saban ... all of them really need to be black if they are going to have any kind of sustained success in their careers.
lol
I think most of those programs sell themselves to a degree USF is not on that level yet

Other than winning a lot of games (like Bama has done), I wonder a lot why these players want to spend 4 years of their life there? Living in Alabama is a world of it's own, not diverse and certainly not a place where you want to live when your career is done there.
Conversely, Tampa is a city where people choose to live over anywhere else. Just look at all the former Bucs players (with millions) end up living.
As far as AW, there are not many places that have such an open door to play QB right away. Combine that with the weapons he is going to have. The key for AW is to have a quality running game to keep teams off balance. That's why Jo Jo Kemp is key. Along with a possible suprise like Folson or Collins.
Offensively, USF will be fine. It's really a matter of building up the hardcore defense that USF used to have just a few years back.
90% on jojo de committing

I believe AW has a very good shot at playing at the next level, based on his ceiling and intangibles. If he comes to USF and plays good football he will shine and get noticed. All it takes is a good season and everyone will start to claim him as the best QB in the conference, which will create a lot of hype. If he can do that and continue to play at a high level, the sky is the limit. Coming to USF will allow him to start making a name for himself sooner rather then later, IMO. At an SEC type program, he will probably have 1-2 years to showcase his talent depending on the school and at USF he will have 3-4 (95% sure it will be 4) years to do the same. It will allow him to work out some kinks, if need be.
+1

No incentive in going to Al no qb goes pro from there one in recent history and he carries a clipboard

You aren't helping.
Would hate to see AW get stuck behind Cooper Bateman. Would be a shame.Alabama on the hunt
Who says he'd get stuck behind him??
Cooper Bateman is over hyped he too was at the elite 11 did ya ever hear his name?

Doubledown,
Calm down. We all (even Bull94) love AW. He just wants our crazy ass fans to temper their expectations. As soon as this kid takes a snap for USF they will want the next guy.
He is not yet an NFL talent. He is a very talented senior high school qb.
In my book he needs to first sign his LOI. Then he needs to get onto campus. Then he needs to take the starting job from Floyd and Eveld (if he is as good as we all think he is, that should not be hard), then he needs to complete a pass in college with bullets flying. Then he needs to develop. Hopefully along the way he becomes the best quarterback USF has ever had. But first he needs to stay commited and sign that letter.
Don't need to calm down, I am speaking on what I saw as a covert way of being sarcastic. I am well aware of what he needs to do not necessary for you to tell me that. lastly I am making a factual statement about his situation in hs with his coaches and drawing a comparison. I cooler than the other side of the pillow. lol
I wasn't being sarcastic. I understand AW has all the talent in the world. I truly am looking forward to seeing him in a Bulls uniform. I have no doubt he will be an amazing college QB. I just want people to lay off BJ Daniels. I get the next big recruit and the backup QB are the most popular people on campus but just leave BJ Daniels out of it. Kid busts his hump and I'm sure his parents wouldn't appreciate the way people talk about him on these boards. Bj Daniels had 34 passing TDs his senior year. he was also a highly rated dual threat. maybe he didn't live up to expectations but that is no reason for our "fans" to constantly complain about him.
I see forgive my jumping to conclusions it sounded exactly like what we've grownaccustom to from his coaches around town

how has winter park been doing lately?
I'm sure AW is tearing up the high school defenses he faces. he must make them look foolish.
I'm excited for CSH to get someone in here to run his offense.
Not exactly. According to his pops, the coaches are being jackasses and handcuffing him with the playcalling. According to our TBP detectives, the coaches are a bunch of UCF alum and as soon as AW committed to us and won the E11 MVP, they have been treating like **** pretty much. I just hope what they do doesnt get him hurt. idgaf about stars or recruit rankings. We know how good he is. I just want him here in one piece.
what are his numbers? any idea? I'd like to see how he performs against live action. I'm not a big skills competition guy.
even if they are limiting him, he must still be tearing it up against such weak competition.I can only imagine how he is embarrassing those high school secondaries.
can you post his numbers? attempts? completions? TD-int ratio. rushing stats. etc. I'd love to see some video game type numbers against weak high school competition. last year his numbers were average. I think 14 TDs 10 ints. I was really looking forward to him tearing it up his senior year.
I was really hoping to compare his high school numbers to BJ. I know BJ had 34 passing TDs his senior year. he led his team to a 10-2 record. I'm sure AW is going to annihilate that with how great a passer he is.
I see what you're doing here. How does it feel being a troll?
Ahhh you see it too? These are the type of things his qb coach does wouldn't surprise me if it was him Steven Moffett . He constantly calls him a shirt and shorts qb. He constantly marginalizes any of his accomplishments and he is the one who calls the plays on offense run, run, run! no doubt intentionally rec 1-4 total offensive yard ave 225!

not if he can only throw 10 15 times a game most of which are screens
-
Time for DVario he is much more aggressive and will play hard to take someone's spot
-
Maybe he understands that BJ is all he has and is smart enough to keep constructive criticisms between the two of them. It's a smart move it won't help to publicly criticize the only hope you got to satisfy the public interest that's good coaching IMO
-
I think CSH would have more options with woulard and it would result in more aggressive play calling and consistent down field throws. BJ is all he's had hard to judge if it's lack of good play calling or having a limitation on what he can call. I like coach Holtz a ton it's important that the players buy into the coach and I think they are confident in him and USF will be fine if AW can get it together sooner than later and bring in a solid passing game

-
Why is the play calling only aggressive when we're down how bout win the game stop playing not to loose
- 2
-
Poor execution on offense wr dropping balls and defense is nonexistent
-
He said he wanted AW to be his QB hopefully he will come to USF 4 yrs of those two would be phenomenal
-
Anyone know his 40 time
-
Didn't BJ get rocked a play or two prior to his coming in? Maybe he came out to get himself together for a play or so. You're a D 1 QB front hand pressure , hold on to the ball see it coming pre snap if you can totally disagree
What is front hand pressure? In my world that would be pressure from the right handed QB's right, not left which was where the pressure came from.
not front side pressure reference to the way you hold the football up until you begin to start throwing motion

Kayvon was a tank against FSU, and has been pretty beastly all season. If the entire defense played with his competitive fire we'd actually get people off the field on 3rd downs.
Kayvon is a monster and Mykal is his biggest fan!!
-
The coaching staff is limited to what they are working with at a given time. We will be a different team with AW game plans and play calling will be taylored to the qbs strength so lets wait and see they only had 1 qb last 4 yrs
