Give us Jim hire Flowers/Kwebb to recruit Miami.  I really don't care at least I'd be rooting for the good guys.  Jim will figure out how to win a lot faster than these spring chickens we keep hiring.

There is obviously nothing wrong with Leavitt's recall or memory.  If it is Chadwell it seems more realistic for success than Scott was when he was hired.  Hope we can find a championship game in our future and retain our QB room.  At this point I'm hopefull for someone with successful HC experience.

If you are being robbed do you reach for the 2 barrel shotty that you've been shooting since you were 12 or the semi auto pistol you got last week?  Leavitts already gotten you into a power conference once and able to hang with anybody when healthy.  Leavitt has former players who are local HS coaches too.  USF doesn't have any strikes left and no more at bats. technically we may be already out and we don't even know it.  Not sure how many metaphors needed but we  gotta stop hiring based on who interviews the best or fits PC culture the best. 

You ride the horse that brought you.  Jim is the lowest risk hire of likely all possible hires in my estimation.  Even without getting knee deep in stats, every job he's been at he's made a positive impact that's noticeable even to casual observers.  His defensive players play incredibly hard.  His love for this area is unmatched.  He would likely have a large rolodex of coaching hires he could make to support winning and recruiting as soon as year one.

Charlie and Skip were excuse machines.  At least Jeff deep down is a good guy.  Yes Mike Kelly should probably be on the chopping block too but I'm not sure that's feasible with stadium planning on going.

Let Jim be the most powerful man in the building again.  I could take a slap, make the recruits sign waivers.  I don't want to be a PC school anymore, I'd rather win or get the NCAA death penalty.  Anything but this

Having rethought my response I refuse to accept the only 2 coaching choices are retread coaches sapped of confidence/energy and unproven choices who need to learn on the job but have all the confidence in the world.  We need a realistic hire who appreciates hard work in development and an administration completed devoted to results.  It starts with luring big time talent and easing any restriction in doing so.  Establish a brand and have your hire incorporate those elements.  We aren't even relevant, we are non-existent.  These teams that play us are putting up minimal effort and still are able to steamroll us.  It's disgusting.

It's a waste of energy since they don't pay us to figure it out.  But they need to clean the house and hire somebody to figure it out.

Some people don't want to ruin other people's delusion since they are probably happier that way.  No reason for everyone to be depressed.

I get the feeling Jeff shouldn't even be a position coach at the college level.  I'm not sure what his strength is but the recievers and every other position is regressing.

I'm sorry but this ain't going to cut it.  I knew Jeff Scott was a long term investment kinda hire but he won't make it beyond this season.  I had hoped to see improvement but it's just taking too long.

Website looks and performs like first class stuff.  Good job athletics I am loving this era it feels like we are back on the right track.  We have vision, purpose, and a mission. No more mistakes or finger pointing, just results.

I would think so as well.  Hopefully we can get one more pass rush DE to shore up the whole D line.

Most excited about the influx of a body type we were missing the DE/OLB.  Michel Dukes and Ajou on offense should put us over the top for bowl eligibility.  This team is weakest at the QB position though.  The team will only go as far as consistent play and decision making, execution in the red zone.
