Our offensive rebounding is non existent. It's been an issue in every game I've watched lately. I'm sure it's been an issue all year. 

Our rebounding is awful. Also I don't understand basketball rules in the least bit.

On the flip side our schedule has been very soft. OOC schedules are a huge thing for teams in lower conferences. I understand and support the reasons we had such an awful OOC schedule. Nobody in Athletics including coach really expected this. A new coach needed to get some wins under his belt. If we were in the same situation again I would schedule a weak OOC schedule. Losing to 2-3 of those awful teams is going to kill you. We have a couple of nice wins (FAU, Charlotte, Memphis, and FSU) but is that a resume at this point you give an atlarge too. I think you will find more deserving teams. If we had a huige win in December we would want that win counted, just as the losses are part of the resume.The turnaround just happened too quick. Which is a good thing, but our schedule will likely cost us if we dont win the tourney. 

I 100% expect a better OOC schedule next year.

 

It will be very interesting to see what the coaches and ap voters have to say in a couple of hours. I suspect we gain a few more votes, but not as many as ppl on this board expect.

Definitely doesn't help that Memphis is in complete free fall since our win against them

You do that chant if the game is in the bag. Not with almost ten minutes left in a basketball game. Teams go on huge runs all the time which FAU did almost immediately afterwards

IDK maybe since we did it against Memphis down 20 and we were down what 17 against Charlotte. Maybe more.  This is the first time we've been good in years and we almost got humbled real quick

I do believe that he didn't give Coach and the new staff a chance, which is pretty surprising seeing as to the offense that we would be running and how beneficial it would have be for Brian.

He left the team. Even if he played out the season, he left before giving the new coach a chance. He could have been the feature of our offense along with BB. He chased the money. I believe he was the one player out of him, weaver and horn that said he wasn't leaving and then he ended up leaving anyway.

We should have the three transfers that haven't signed plus one or two commits. Then we also have to wait and see if a anyone else transfers out as well opening spots

You can tell Golesh cares about his guys a lot. He was getting emotional after the Gatorade bath. 

So glad they scored and then kept scoring. Certain older coaches of ours would have definitely let up and just tried coasting to a win. 

You can tell Golesh knew how important this game was. It wasn't just a bowl win. It was a statement that USF is coming back. I loved seeing it.
