  1. And im just gonna paraphrase what taggart wants to say: "floyd will hurt us more than help us. And eveld is flat out boring." That doesnt sound too good to me. The only knocks on white is he is a bit slender and hes a newbie. Question is: once he grasps enough of the offense, will taggart pull the trigger?

If we want to win FB games, boring is a lot better than infuriating or a guy who doesn't get the offense. I'm surprised to say it, but I think it's still looking like Eveld--at least to start the season.

  2. What is the expected completion date....all I have heard is this year?

Supposed to be done by the end of April and the first event is to be Spring Graduation.

Wow that would be great if that happens, however still looks like a lot of work to be done. Thanks.

I agree it looks like a lot is left to do. Graduation is May 4th and 5th. What's the fallback plan? The Forum is booked both days. Would they chance going to the amphitheater that time of year? There is really nowhere else large enough that is covered or indoor unless they would go to Lakeland.

I don't think there is a fallback plan. Graduation will be in the Sun Dome.

  3. Let see did you know that Knight's budget for basketball at Texas Tech is 8.25 million? Thats FOUR times our budget for basketball.

Huggy's at Kansas State's is 3.01 million thats 1 million more than ours.

So while its always good to point out successes its also good to look at what financial backing has been given to those coaches to succeed.

The avg budget in Big 12 is 4.2 mill the avg budget in Big East is 4.52 mill

    USF's budget is 1.98 mill

    -----------------------

Our basketball budget is less than half the average in the BE?  Wow!  I don't have much idea of how that gets spent, but our costs of travel to conference games has to be a LOT more than for anyone else, which leaves us even less for everything else.

  4. USF is a team that takes time to warm up, lets just hope game two they are smokin.  USF can do it.

It took a while for the team to develop last year--by our second game we weren't anything like the team we were eventually.  I hope we start a whole lot faster next year, or I fear we won't much like the outcome of the Auburn game.
