  1. not a problem. if anyone else has any questions on our team, by all means feel free to contact me.
  2. you do have to be a student to race, however if you were to take a few stupid online classes in the spring you would be eligible. anyone can join our club team and ride with us and utilize our training/coaching sessions and order uniforms. email me with any questions you have...ill have an updated training schedule in august i can email you if you'd like
  3. well each team has about 5-10 riders in each category race ( there are different levels depending on how fast you are) but essentially there is an individual and a team standing. It is an individual race, though teams will use certain tactics to get there top riders to the front. Each racer will earn points towards the individual points championship with each of their finish. The top 12 finishers score points (there can be up to a 100 racers in each race!) Out of the top twelve finishers, lets say USF had four riders placing. these four riders would obtain the amount of points that each position gives. The NCCA rule says that the top 3 riders will score points towards the team championship in each race, so the top 3 here would score points for the team. So throughout our season these points get accumulated over the course of about 30 races that we do. (3-4races per weekend at each school)
  4. yea i know it doesnt take you to paypal...i like to have everyone email me first so i dont just randonly have money in paypal that i dont know where it came from. As for our race calendar, the race you are probably talking about is a florida points series race. We do a collegiate series during the same time, the races next year will be hosted by the following schools: University of Florida Georgia Southern University University of Georgia Georgia Tech Florida State Auburn University Lees Mcrae College Vanderbilt University and nationals i believe will be held at Stanford University in cal. next year!
  5. Hello All, My name is Joshua Kuck and i am the captain of the USF Cycling Team. We are currently selling apparel for next season (jerseys, shorts, hats, polos t-shirts etc.) in order to raise some more cash for our second season. For those that don't know, we are a NCCA division 1 Cycling Team, as part of the South East Conference. Last year we placed 11th out of 37 collegiate teams, and next year we hope to break the top 5 with double the team members this upcoming season. Our races are in the spring (8 races plus conference championships and nationals.) We are also looking for new sponsors for next season if anyone knows of any companies willing to do that (i have sponsorships packets upon request) I will also send a DVD of last season upon request. Any questions email me at USFCycling@USFCycleRacing.com and be sure to check out our site (uniform picture are on the homepage) at www.usfcycleracing.com Go Bulls!
  6. hey guys, im the president of the team. the school is kind of holding us up right now, i got an email yesterday saying were not allowed to sell them for resale due to trademark usage. im going to try and remedy this and hopefully with enough interest i can convince them that resale is a good idea. a few bike shops in the area would like to carry them as well. and the reason why you havent seen them in the bookstore is because this is our first year as a NCCA division 1 sport. next year we should at least have t-shirts. thanks for the interest guys and spread the word! By the way, the jersey has changed a little bit since i posted that, they are made by louis garneau and their is a "usf" logo on the front instead of the "U" but they look very sharp! Anyone interested in checking us out we are hosting the squiggy classic crit race saturday march 10th. check our website for more details! www.usfcycleracing.com
