Not shocked. USF not in SEC. At least we didn't lose him to UCF. Good luck VH III
worse
usf and big east are now the minor leagues
If you really feel that way Steve then just leave and don't look back. Southern Cal needs you now. Your services here are no longer required.

I prefer we have the top DT
I agree. Asiantii will be a perfect fit for what the USF offense wants to do. If your a Big Ten team then you would look for a pocket passer but USF needs a great passer who can move. Asiantii proved at the Elite 11 that he will be just what USF needs to move forward.
BTW - The August 7th Elite 11 show will be at 9:30 on ESPNU.

Willie Davis with Floyd. And does anyone know about Kemp? Is he a bruiser because he only has 4.7 speed.
Kemp wont be at USF until 2014 (assuming he signs with USF in february).
Kemp will be at USF summer session B 2013.

Does Jesuit have a home game that week? If they do, then that would be a real mess.

Well I hate to make snap judgments about a guy especially in an area so sensitive as this but when I watched one of Richardson's interviews I did get the distinct impression that he was dumb as a stone...so if he did drop out or got expelled or something...I guess that would be evidence that the totally unfair snap judgment might not have been that unfair.
Some recruits we're going after might visit the message board, so maybe you shouldn't criticize someone in a personal way. Criticizing the way they play or their offer sheet is fine by me, but that's not cool man. Just MHO
I would say you should change your might visit to do visit. I have known a couple who did visit whether it was the recruit or the recruits immediate family. I remember one time someone made a very negative comment about Matt Grothe and Matt's dad was always on here. It is just not necessary. These are young men who have not even started their senior year in high school.

I believe that USF is recruiting him as a safety so I really don't think the corner commits should affect his decision.

Bill, are you reading tweets from pay sites again ?
He is doing nothing wrong by reading people's twitter accounts. I, for one, appreciate the effort.

Well done Ladies and Gentlemen. Much improved.

He goes to Plant. Will never go to USF. Lets move on.

Miami blows a huge lead, barely hangs on and now they are unbeatable. I think not. Also, this sure looks to be the wrong board for this post.

According to the Tennessee home page on Rivals, Ferguson committed to the Vols.

When TCU was in the Big East(for about 2 months), the TV deal that was turned down was 1.4 billion for 9 years(or 15.5 million per school). I really don't know what the Big East was thinking when they turned that down.

FSU
Where he was this weekend, watching their Spring Game with 40K in the stands ....?
Watched the replay on ESPNU and there is no way there were more than 15,000 in the stands

I doubt that Florida will release him without the stipulation that he can not transfer to another SEC school. If he can't go to another SEC school, then I think that USF has a shot at him.
-
All I know is we are the state champs in Florida and you can find me on the winning side. O0
I don't think UCF would like to play Florida, Florida State, Miami, or USF this year; even in down years, Florida's BCS teams would murder UCiF.
are you that much of a homer? USF didn't even 'murder' Western Kentucky
Well, we have already beaten Cincinnati and Rutgers this year; that is two more than the entire history of the UCF program.
That's not correct ... they've beaten Alabama and NC State in their history,
Is that the only two BCS teams they have beaten?
Yes.
First, I would like to congratulate UCF on their ranking. They still have two hurdles to get by that they can shoot for next. UCF has never won a bowl game(0-3) and they have never beat a ranked BCS team(their only win over a ranked team was last season against Houston).
Since they have not played any games against any Florida schools, I guess they are not only state champs but also Big East, ACC and SEC champs. I come to this conclusion since they also won no games this season against those conferences.

The fact is now our academic committee is becoming an hinderance, and Genshaft and WOolard need to review the process. We've lost Justin Green, Akol, Thornton, another hoops signee months after it should have taken to say 'yea' or 'nea'...this will be used against us.
Justin Green is where? Nobody wanted to take a shot on him and he's making his way through CC and plans to come here next year.
Teeng Akol? A major project that's still far from fruition. http://newsok.com/travis-ford-teeng-akol-has-work-to-do/article/3375964?custom_click=lead_story_title
Maybe Thornton will be 'the one that got away', but even the big schools know that you only take academic chances on STUD talent. If Coach believed that Thornton was a difference maker in this class, I guarantee he gets admitted. Read between the lines in his comments and you get the feeling that he cooled on the kid at some point in the process and nobody went to the wall for him with the committee.
If you read what I typed the point is this will be used against us and hurt us in recruting. You can disapparage an athlete and their talents all you want but the fact is heath took Akol in lieu of another athlete, by the time he realized the academic committee wouldn't allow him access it was to late to find a replacement for that schollie, ditto for Thornton...case in point we have Thornton and John Brown came knocking on our door inquiring about a transfer, we said 'no' because the proverbial 'inn is full' well now it's not as it appears we may only bring in 24 kids from the 2009 recruiting class and may have had room for him after all particularly after losing Thornton.
The point is when a school takes this long to let a player know that will be used negatively against us, as it should because no kid should find out this late that he isn't admitted into the school when he passed the NCAA Clearinghouse. USF is entitled to their rules, and requirements but they need to let the staff and players know much earlier about who will make it in....they owe it to them, these are kids and this is not fair to them. Hell Akol was already enrolled before he was ripped out of class and basically kicked out of school.
This will hurt us with recruiting, this may hurt coaching staff and academic relations, and it might hurt our sports downt the road because we never had enough time to plan continency options...once it hurts, but more and more times it begins to be very painful for a program. Take Justin Green he was probably destine for OT, and we're entering this season without a great OT...it would have been nice to have him hear with a year under his belt at tackle, OR having signed another player to fill his absence.
Hey Pride. From the 30 signed, I got Thornton not allowed into USF, K.Williams going to HCC, Bellamy going to Prep, Hill counting toward 2008 and Atkins being a greyshirt which gives me 25. Where are you getting 24? Did I miss someone?
-
According to Greg's blog, Khyri is not coming because he was turned down by the school's academic board even though he was cleared by the NCAA. I really had high hopes for him causing havoc in the DLine.

our recruiting classes and talent are so superior to ucf its hilarious
O'Leary tends not to drink from the fountain of junior college. He espouses building the way of ancient Egyptians. One pyramid block at a time. Therefore the foundation is set not on shaky ground, but on solid.
Sincerely,
The 2nd most applied to school in the state.
Don't forget about the savior, the great Terry Mayo.

he is a joke and an embarassment
who would pay to see these guys
any credibility you had of football knowledge has obviously been flushed down the toilet. you have no clue what you are talking about again.
will you let me know when he beats a good team
you havent been paying that washed up qb last two years
if you had to pay him you would have cut him2 years ago
i forgot more football than you will ever know
You must have forgot a crapload of football because you don't know sh** about the game.
He beat the 3rd seed in the AFC this season. Is that not good enough for you?
Maybe until you get some actual knowledge of the game you should not post.
If you had done that from the start, your post count would be zero.
Maybe you should try to learn the game while Favre relaxes with his first round bye.
let me know when gb qb wins a meaningful game
we know he cant win in dallas
let's see if he wins first playoff game
TDS
28
INT
15
YDS
4,155
Rating
95.7
Record 13-3
Why is it so hard to admit you are wrong and say that he is having an excellent season? It probably comes from your inability to ever say that you were wrong.

EVerything is official.  Now the coaches can take a couple weeks R&R before cranking it up again from spring practice
-
voss will not play qb at usf
How much have you seen him play? Just like I thought not at all. Maybe you should see him play before you spew your negative rhetoric

If he is so committed, then why is he taking a visit to USF this weekend? I think this situation is far from over.
Skip was on 620 AM this morning

On 98.7, I have heard USF talk/interviews on the Commish's show(10am-2pm) and on Rich Herrera's show(6pm-10pm). I would have thought Todd Wright and Booger McFarland would talk college football but they never do. I really miss JP Peterson and Drake in the 2pm-6pm slot.
