Well done! Please keep us posted on the mall parking situation. We mountaineers (like any group of rabid football fans) definitely will be needing more than 3 hours to tailgate--especially for a 7:00 kick!!! I'd appreciate any suggestions on available parking/tailgating options besides the RJ lots. (and by the sound of how the Glaser's treat you guys, I wouldn't want to subsidize their lots anyway--screw the greedy bastards). How far are the Hillsborough College lots from RJ? Do many folks tailgate over there?

Hey folks. Mountaineer fan here and I spoke to some of you earlier regarding the October 22nd game with WVU. Thanks for your prior suggestions. Looks like I'm going to do a bit of a longer weekend stay, coming down Thursday, spending Friday at the beach, game on Saturday, and fly home Sunday, with lots of Ybor tankings in between. :-) Just wondering what your hotel recommendations were for places with close proximity to the Stadium, Ybor City etc. Do you know what hotels the visiting teams usually stay at for USF games? I like to be with the team when possible; otherwise, I'm just looking for comfort and convenience. Also, do you recommend renting a car to go to Clearwater beach from Tampa, or just taking a cab. How far is it out there? Thanks, and I'm looking forward to the first of many future Tampa football trips! Oh yeah. Any updates on the tailgating scene? Last I talked to you, there was supposedly a bunch of construction going on at the mall where many of you throw down before games, and Ray J lots don't open til late. Any thoughts on the best places to tailgate? Or would I be better off just barhopping up until kickoff?

I've heard that Tampa kind of shuts down by 2, with not to many after hours options, but people in Orlando told me that, so what do they know? :-) Any "can't miss" campus bars that I should hit the night before or after a big game? Always looking for friendly banter with fans, especially since you guys are in the league now. 'Adult' entertainment options and opinions would also be appreciated. Think WWWSD (what would Warren Sapp do?). 3. Tailgating/Parking situation. Generally, mountaineers like to come early and stay late. :-) What's the tailgating like around RJS? 4. Most importantly. Do they sell beer in the stadium? :-) Looking forward to the Florida trip, and to welcoming our new league bretheren with horrific beatdowns in 2005. ;-) All in good fun.
