    If we played the way we can we should of beat them!!  thats about it, did you not watch the game. Did you think they played as good as you really thought they would?? we  catch the ball and we stop the blitz just a couple times we win!!

    We must of been watching a different game.  I was in Louisville and except for our first three/four possessions-we stunk.  They probably didn't play as well as they could have and thank God they didn't or the beating we took would have been a whole lot worse.  I think Matt's statement shows his immaturity, less talk matt and more production!

    Bulls. To even suggest otherwise is moronic.

    Further, even if Louisville does get to the title game and gets smacked by Ohio State/Michigan it would be MUCH worse than the Bulls winning.

    If you're rooting against the Bulls because you want a team in the title game get out of here. You think South Carolina fans are hoping they lose to Florida so they can see an sEC team in the title game? NO!

    I'm not suggesting, just opining it might be better for Big East's immediate stature and our Bulls in the long run that Louisville sweep and win N.C.

    The SEC is not under fire like our Big East is and desperate times sometimes call for desperate measures.

    We had this discussion and I got roasted for saying "IF we lost to UL it wouldn't hurt so bad if they won the NC".  I think if UL wins this week our game will be on ESPN so beating UL on National TV would be great.  Screw all the BS about the BCS and NC, I for one would be pumped about the win.  Other thing is what happens if the Ville went a NC game and got crushed ?

    Exactly, imagine the backlash if UL got beat down like OU did against USC several years back.  Can you imagine all the i told you so's from all the anaylsts the BE would be right back where it was when Pitt got destryoed by Utah a few years back.  I really feel like whoever gets there will lose by atleast 2tds to the OSU UM winner so why not let a team from another conference that could shoulder the loss without the critcism the BE would get from the same loss take the L.  I think a beat down in a non NC bowl game by the BE rep could get their name in the pot as a team that could have fared better if a team from another conference gets blown out.    

    Valid points too consider for sure.  Although, I am not so sure about your 14 point underdog position though.  I bullieve UL (or WVU for that matter) could hang with either OSU or UM.  I for one would rather see UL in the N.C. game and take my chances with the outcome.  Having said that, and for the sake of the future of the Big East, Go Bulls and Cards!

    Should we secretly be rooting for Louisville on Nov. 18th ?  Seriously,  I'm as big a Bulls fan as any of you, but I wonder if sacrificing our game with them this year will benefit us more in the long run than a win over them on the 18th.  A win by us over Louisville and the media's position of the Big East being soft is strengthened, a loss by us to them and a Louisville sweep of the remaining schedule= an invitation to the N.C. game, and a win over Mich/OhioSt by Louisville puts too rest forever the legitimacy of the Big East.  

    What say you Bulls fans?

    Texas came to USF FIRST.  They wanted a 1 for 2 (one here 2 at Texas).  The USF athletic director said home and home or nothing.  

    I say good for us, with teams like Auburn, Miami and other BCS schools willing to schedule 1 for 1's we don't need that kind of deal.    

    I didn't realize our game with Auburn next season was a 1 for 1.  When are they coming to Tampa?

    FYI, I don't post on ANY UCF board... I did years ago but got banned by Brandon the Board Nazi in a matter of days.  

    ok, then its not you and those comments arent directed towards you then.  but there is some fool that everytime i go over to the UCF board to get some laughs at their meltdown i see some guy named USFBullwriter or something like that, making thread after thread just to stir things up and it makes USFf ans look bad.

    Maybe you should worry more about how your own posts reflect on bulls fans instead of others post on various boards.  Your "dude shout the hell up" comments don't reflect that professionalism you're requesting from others, is it?  Maybe if you apologized and set a good example then others might follow.

    Wondering if their conversation at the end of the game was a little intense?  Wanny looked pissed and understandably so, given the results of the game.  

    We basically fell on that int to end the game and didn't try to run it back which I thought was classy on our TEAM's part... Wish I could say the same about the fans.  Chanting Pitt sucks (BEFORE the finger was given, have no problem with that chant after the finger) is classless.  They're a proud program who has kicked our a$$ the past two seasons.  They are also in our conference.   They're also college kids.  At least save that garbage for non-conference games when provoked.

    What a joke.  Please stop with the classy/ classless b.s.  Pitt is a great college with a rich history and great fans, but on Saturday from 12:00 to 3:30 they did suck!  So what.  Next Saturday, from 12:00 to 3:30 Syracuse will suck too.  And going down with the ball instead of trying to return it wasn't classy it was playing smart, stop being so sensitive.  

    Sorry Mr. internet tough guy.  I'll try to be a macho man like yourself.  I'm sure yo were one of the idiots chanting.

    After tonight cinci will be 4-4

    we will be 5-3

    they seem like the team better prepared...is it due to having played a tougher schedule?

    Rutgers is probably a better team than cincy and we almost beat rutgers.  I think the only thing their schedule did for them is have them in a worse position than us to make a bowl game, despite beating us.  

    We just had a bad game.

    We were pathetic last night!  Maybe we just can't hang with the big boys with our current players and coaches.  Last nights game should have humiliated every bulls fan; it was the most pathetic showing possible.  :-[  Heads need to roll!
