TabascoBull, I'm going to take a wild guess and say you probably like spicy food. I love that macaroni at First Choice.
I'm going to try to scope out the other BBQ joints in B'ham. I'll bet there are several places that will put Dreamland to shame.
It's in my blood!
Looking forward to seeing your Bham BBQ review.

First Choice is by far the best BBQ in the Tampa area. Definitely get the macaroni salad if you like spicy foods!

I am not going to lie. I am also upset, I CHOSE to camp out all night, knowing I did not have to. I know it is close to the holidays. I am leaving a day or two before the game and coming back as soon as the game is over. I mean they are free tickets, why would you not try to find a ride or something. That being said, I am pleased with me and the 50-60 people who were out all night partying.
I am glad to see students like you truly enjoying your college experience. I hope the USF school spirit that the few hundred students (like yourself) have, multiplies to a few thousand by next year and increases every year after that.

How long do you think 500 free student tickets would last to see FSU in the Emerald Bowl or Miami in the MPC Computers Bowl?
I bet their students would have jumped on all of them in the first half hour!
-
thats not good. im disappointed in the students. thats pretty pathetic, really.
My thoughts exactly.
No line at 9:35 with 150 tickets left! And unclaimed tickets at 3 p.m.; that's ridiculous!I'm glad we have at least 300 hardcore student football fans, but seriously, there should be many more than that!
There shouldn't have been ANY free tickets available after 10 a.m.
Come on, they're FREE! And to a BOWL GAME!

from Greg Auman
By 9 a.m., when tickets were distributed, the line was about 300 long. As it turns out, students didn't need to camp out. By 9:35, there was no line, with about 150 seats unclaimed, and at 3 p.m., there were tickets available.

...
Over 350 of the 500 tickets purchased by athletics for the students were accounted for by 9:30 a.m.
By 9:30 a.m., all 500 should have been accounted for. Jeez, with the number of students we have the line alone should have been over 500!

You have to admit, some of it was pretty funny. Have a sense of humor!

It's hard to have good representation when you're not even the majority of your own town!

Here's the problem:
(2003 stats taken from US Census Bureau)
Gainesville population 109,146 (all of which either go to school or work at UF, plus the locals that live and breathe UF)
Tallahassee 153,938 (same as above for FSU plus about 50,000 govt. employees)
Tampa Bay Area population approx. 1 million (comprised of USF students/alumni, UF alumni, FSU alumni, Miami alumni, rest of the nation alumni, etc.)
-
If we sold 6200 for the last bowl, we should get at least 7000 for this one.
-
I'd rather see it from the bulls perspective.

root for strength of schedule.
Louisville and West Virginia.

Be nice to see a College of Economics... but, maybe I'm a little biased.
I'd like to see some money going to improving the MBA program's national ranking.

I say we end up 9-4. :GoBulls
-
we've all been concerned ever since the first game
You mean the first game of the season, or the first game ever? It's been a concern at least since 2001.

"Since moving to I-A in 2001, the Bulls have finished in the nation's top six in penalties every season."

Sounds about right. Should be a close game.

That's awesome!

I have always gone palms in with it
That looks like a fraternity sign to me.
-
I say start Matt and then let PJ finish off 'Cuse.
-
I agree with JimUSFSig. Always root for USF! If Louisville deserves to go to the NC, then they'll beat us, but there is no way I'm rooting for that!
-
I like the palm out look better. Maybe I'm just used to seeing the hook 'em horns sign.

What's up with the upside down bulls sign? Does everyone sign it differently? Palm out, back-of-hand facing out, and now upside down!
