  1. I tend to agree with you....but the word is APALLING.  BTW....if I was pulled over for speeding...lets say doing 80 in a 70mph zone....clearly breaking the law...can the State Trooper pull me over and yank my ass out of my car and put a choke-hold on me, or would that be considered excessive. Sorry for your problems with the TSA folks and local police.  I think they (police) were out of line. N2O
  2. I guess I was a bit isolated from what a lot of people saw in regards to drunk obnoxious UCF fans, but unfortunatley it does not surprise me.  I have been going to UCF games since 1986...and the student lot there seems to get worse every year.  I do know that Orsini has taken some measures to stamp out this embarrassment.  The Alumni lot that I used to park in was adjacent to the student lot.  I upped my GKC membership just so I could get further away from the student lot.  It is a fricking zoo of drunken idiots.  I could make this post even longer to tell you what Orsini has done to clean it up, and it is working, but that is for another time.  As a UCF fan and a fan of college football, I am sorry that is what some of you experienced.  You have my most sincere apologies, for what it is worth. Now, what I experienced was a bit different from what you are saying.  Of course, there were the USF fans razzing me on the way to the stadium, and out of the stadium, and in the stands, but nothing to start a fight over.  Hell, in the stands, my UCF friends actually had a real good time with the USF fans....I could actually call them friends now.  I guess location is everything, and I had club level access during the game in section 235.  I will tell you this....every single USF fan that I stopped to talk to were very friendly and courteous.  One even offered me extra tickets in 235 to watch my fathers alma mater West Virgina play over at Ray Jay.  How good is that?  So...my team stunk up the field and made you guys look like superstars.  Who cares.  I had a great time despite the loss and I am glad football season is back.  I do hope this series continues, and I would like the chance to extend the hospitality back to some of the Bulls fans that will make the trip to Orlando.  Of course UCF's greatest revenge will be that fact that our game in '06 will be played in the Citrus Hole (no explanation necessary).  Don't count us out yet..we are not the patsys that we played out to be Saturday night...in time, UCF will play more competitive, but as of now the Bulls have the better team and better coaching. Back to the drunk fans.....you will run in to this where ever you go, and it is unfortunate.  I would be willing to bet there was a share of USF fans exhibiting the same behavior.  But, as I said before, I did not see much it from either side (the exception being the police escorting a UCF fan and USF fan out of the stadium).  My experience at UF a few years back, and GT were much, much worse.  You will find out when you go to play UF.  My bet is that Miami fans are going to be pretty horrible too.  Anyhow, I have rambled long enough.  See you all in Orlando next year!  Good luck against Louisville! 3. USF vs Penn St and UCF vs South Carolina (I can not call them USC) were virtually mirror games. Early first half mistakes cost both teams a potential victory. Bulls and Knights looked better in 2nd half. Before the FAMU game was played, I picked the typical homer pick (although close) of UCF winning the contest by three...UCF 23, USF 20. After the FAMU game, I am predicting a USF victory of USF 27, UCF 20. My formula is based on a weekend of extended exposure to the sun, complicated by the consumption of Miller Lite (on sale at the time for $4.99 an 18 pack!), and being on a boat fishing in fairly rough water for eight hours. I do not know how many beers and beverages I consumed during my outing, but I know it was at least 21 - because being a UCF graduate, I can only count to 20 by using my hands and feet (since I went to grad school, I can now count to 21 if I drop my pants). I feel that my logic is just as sound as any posted on this board and I dare anyone to challenge my complicated analysis. My totally homer prediction is UCF 28, USF 13.....who the hell knows, I am just going to the game and have fun and hope my team wins. All that aside, I caught a redfish that was three Miller Lites long. N2O
