    Is our fight song available on CD for purchase anywhere?  Along with other songs the band plays?  

    The Alumni Assoc. does have copies of Cds from the band with the fight song and March Victorious plus a few others.  Also, we talked to the band director, Mike and he said they are in the process of cutting a CD right now and should be out sometime next year.

    Maybe Mutt will burn a copy of the CD we have from the Alum Assoc.

    #2 - Decide on date/time I REALLY liked the idea (for home games) to follow the buses from the school down to RJS. That would be alot of fun, it would get the players pumped, and it would give us until Dec 3rd to get the word out so that the 1st ever Bull Ride would make waves. Or would you prefer to do it during away games? Ride up/down interstate en masse with flags-a-flyin'?

     ;)

    Here's a small problem I see: interference with tailgating.  Otherwise, you guys are really onto something!!!

    We do love Lee Roy Selmon's and are happy they finally opened a restaurant in Pinellas.  The Pinellas Alumni Chapter will be having board meetings there in the future.  However, they are wishy washy with support for USF.  The hostesses told us they voted not to wear USF stuff on game day because they just didn't want to.  On the other hand, the wait staff does wear their USF pride.

    BTW, just a little plug for Capogna's!  They turned EVERY T.V. in the bar section to the USF game on Saturday and opened an hour early just for us!!!  They even had 100 little league kids showing up for a private party and wouldn't let them in early!! ;D

    Name Change

    Here is my list -- in no particular order:

    1 - University of Tampa Bay  or  Tampa Bay State University

    2 - Sunshine State University  or  University of the Sunshine State

    3 - Tampa State University (University of Tampa is taken)

    4 - Tampa University (might be confusing, but technically available)

    First, might I point out that while the main campus IS in Tampa, USF encompasses a larger area than just Tampa.  Renaming our school to only use the words Tampa would be leaving out a large majority of students and Alumni.  Second, why are we discussing this?  Do you honestly believe we will change our name after 50 years?

    Mutt and Art were the ones who made the signs!  The big one that says Are U Ready  is signed by the whole team, coaching staff, cheerleaders, Rocky, and Judy G.  You should have seen the garage when they were making them.  Then up until a few weeks ago they were working on stuff for the Homecoming booth.  We had all kinds of things in the front yard and in the garage.  BTW, come by our Homecoming booth in December (Pinellas Alumni). ;)
