It was a nice tribute. I am glad that many people came.
-
I don't see the kid playing unless there is an injury or a blowout.
We will stick with the vanilla offense and pray for no turnovers and let our D put us in a good position.
-
I've been saying it all along. We need to ride Andre Hall to a Bowl Bid. We will only go as far as he takes us. Why we did not use him more at Pitt still baffles me.
I heard he was pretty dinged up. Bad shoulder.

The women's exhibition game.
The men play on thursday night.
-
I was happy to see the football players wear "12" on their helmets.
-
Denson would have been more than happy to hit a defensive back in stride with his 1st or 2nd pass.
-
Simpson had the big return against UL.
But I think we should get him a few reps.
At least we should play Ponton and Hall at the same time.
Put Ponton at rb and Hall at the slot.
Hall had that great catch and run in the slot against pitt.
Just get those backs in the open field. And they seem to be the only ones who can catch.

Chad Simpson is the fastest RB. Jesse Hester is the fastest WR.

The rest of your list could happen. Not mine.

We lost the 11AM games last year because we sucked. Too many freshman playing and nothing to play for.
If and I mean IF we win these next 2 games, we will have a decent crowd.
Students: Either stay up all night drinking or get up and get it started at 7am.
If you are a student and noon is too early for you. You are a p**sy!
My best friend is driving from the ATL at 10pm the prior night. If he can make his ass out there to tailgate, you can too.
No excuses Bulls fans, just show up!

Your welcome...
Thank you for the tune up game.

At that point the it was the 2nd team running back. He was in since the Bush got hurt. So he had plenty of time to get his mug on tv.
I would have been cool with the whole drive if the starters were not in.
If its all subs, then score away. At that point the D should step and stop the scrubs. But when its a majority of starters or major contributors, then its classless.
Petrino wasn't clearing the bench.
-
I will have to look for the Bada Bing when I get into NJ tonight.
-
There was nothing wrong with what they did. They ran it straight into the line of scrimmage. Pitt couldn't or didn't care to stop it.
If you were an alum and had money on the game I bet you would think differently. Bobby Bowden was notorious for covering spreads for his good ole boys.
If Pitt didn't like it then they should have stopped it.
The same could have been said if a REALLY REALLY late hit was put on Brohm and he was out for the year or worse.
There is a code on the field during blow outs. Yeah Pitt should have stopped them but, at the same time the class thing is to take a knee. Coaches should careless about the spread. UL Alum should head to the #1 gambling rule, never bet with you heart.
-
I really hope he gets his SAT scores.
-
Plus UL ran the score up with 40 seconds left. Petrino basically has no class. When you do things like that you leave your star athletes open for injury.
-
That is slighty gay. By slightly I mean alot.

We are definitely going to have call on Holmes to come thru this year. He has gotten himself into great shape and should be able to win some battles in the rugged big east. If he can be consistent with his jumper he will be an outstanding contributor. Especially when we go thru those famous USF 4 to 7 minutes non scoring sessions in games.

(oh I'm gonna take it on the chin on this one...)
No offense, but USF doesn't necessarily offer the most well-rounded, quality education out there in terms of undergrad.
Now if you want to talk about graduate programs, that's completely different.
I am sorry you on such a level where no class at USF is challenging. Any student has the ability to get a great education at ANY school. An education is what you make of it. Professors will not fill in every detail of the real world for you.
After I got hurt playing college football and came home. I chose USF over FSU, UF, UCF, GT, and ND. The only school I might have really went to over USF was ND. But frankly I didn't want at least 130K in student loans when I got out of there.
The bottom line is if you don't think you are getting a great education at USF, leave.

Please, don't confuse him with facts .....
Ah my bad! Then its ALL CJL's fault. Only if he could hold onto that ball.
-
I will predict that my smuggled Jack or Captain will not make thru the 3rd quarter in piscataway.
-
Dennis is the best guard defender USF has seen in a long, long time.
Just imagine if Robert Montgomery Knight was at the helm......
