  1. CSTV UPDATE: Fans not able to make the drive to Orlando on Saturday or not wanting to spend the afternoon at a sports bar can watch the CSTV telecast on the Internet.

  2. You know... a year ago... after the loss at Miami, everyone... and I mean just about EVERYONE... on this board were screaming to never wear the white on white again.

USF lost in white on white on the road @ Penn State and @ Miami.

I believe that after Miami, USF did not wear the white on white again last year.  Bad karma.

    THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

  3. http://www.sptimes.com/2006/09/14/Sports/Injured_Vols_DL_will_.shtml

TAMPA - Coach Jim Leavitt said after practice that backup cornerback Jerome Murphy has broken his left hand and is playing with a cast, which was covered with a plastic bag because of the rain.

Leavitt said Murphy will continue to play.

Murphy, a redshirt freshman, has played sparingly with five tackles in two games. He backs up Trae Williams.

Kicker still working: Leavitt knows kicker Mike Benzer is struggling. The Orlando native is 0-for-5 in field goals since 2005 when he was replaced by Kyle Bronson, who now plays for Texas State. Leavitt said he has plenty of faith in Benzer.

"Benzer looked real good (Wednesday)," Leavitt said. "I've never faltered on him or lost confidence in him."

Leavitt said if Benzer continues to struggle, freshman punter Delbert Alvarado, who already replaced Ilia Petrov, is his next option

  4. I guess another way to put my question is this:

If information on the proposed future schedules is a matter of public record, then does that mean a written contract offer has been made?  It would seem it becomes record only when it is in writing (accepted or otherwise)...else, what is there to protect the integrity of the public record?

I'd like some clarification, but not sure how top get it.

There could be writings concerning the available dates and negotiations on the amount of $$ the team would like to be paid and other terms.  That would all be in writing prior to a written acceptance by either university.  Also, there might be internal memos from different people at USF discussing the availability and the opportunity to play different games.  Emails could also exist between people at USF.

  5. Here's a good template I use to request public records if any one is interested.

I am writing to request documentation demonstrating ______________, for the past five years.  This request is made, pursuant to the Public Records Act, Chapter 119 of the Florida Statutes.

This request includes copies of documents related to the matter, regardless of the format in which the information is stored.  As you are aware, information stored on a computer is a public record.

If you refuse to provide this information, Chapter 119 requires you advise me in writing and indicate the applicable exemption to the Public Records Act.  Also, please state with particularity the reasons for your decision, as required by Section 119.07(2)(a).  If the exemption you are claiming only applies to a portion of the records, please delete that portion and provide photocopies of the remainder of the records, according to Section 119.07(2)(a).

I agree to pay the actual cost of duplication as defined in Section 119.07(1)(a). However, if you anticipate that in order to satisfy this request, "extensive use" of information technology resources or extensive clerical or supervisory assistance as defined in Section 119.07(1)(B) will be required, please provide a written estimate and justification.

I request these records be available by __________. If you have any questions or need more information in order to expedite this request, please feel free to contact me.

  6. Man, and to think I thought I covered everything.  :)

Transportation is available to anyone that parks at the TD Waterhouse, whether you are attending the USF Tailgate or not.  This is a service that I'm guessing they provide every game for anyone that parks their.  Just pay the $5 and you are good to go.

The drop off point will most likely be the same for those on our bus trip.  They usually have one spot for all buses to drop off at.

My friend (a fellow Chippewa alum) with the Golden Knights Club told me the TD Waterhouse lots open at 8 a.m. and the shuttles begin operating at 10:00 a.m.

    Keep them coming.

    Eric

$5 per person for the shuttle?  Or it's basically free for as many in your car and $5 to park?
