Just another note that the Around the Horns Tour with Coach Skip Holtz and Coach Stan Heath will be 5:30 - 7 pm Monday, May 14 at Rocco's Italian Grill, 400 South Orlando, Winter Park.

The event is $10 and will feature lots of good food and a cash bar, as well as lots of fun with your fellow Bulls.

Oh geez, if UCF somehow manage to go undefeated, imagine what their local writers would say. You don't believe the national media would pick this up too, just like BSU and TCU for the past 3-4 years.  Or their fans go ape crazy, wanting a shot at those top tier BCS ranking schools.

um they have already lost 2 games so they can't go undefeated buddy.

You obviously have not heard of the 'moral victory' clause in the Orlando sports enviroment.

I plan not to sell any of my extra seats next year, I can tell you there will be more people in the stands, more fans at the watch parties and more iconic U logos appearing in Orlando.

Not to throw water on you guys but for those of you who said they'd sign up but never buy it...  Guess what.  The 1000 means 1000 orders completed.  So even if the ticker hits a thousand, you have to actually buy the magazines you've pledged.  If 1000 orders aren't taken in then your money is returned.

If I can buy season tickets, go to a bowl game, buy a game ball used in the bowl game, etc . . . . do you not think I might order more than one copy of the magazine?

The helmet logos I just purchased from USF Athletics were black, there is a picture over on the incircle site for the Orlando Alumni Chapter ( http://incircle.usfalumni.org ).  Additionally, I picked up an old logo  "game used" helmet previously on Ebay... it may have been used in a game, not a USF game, maybe a high school or prep game.  It was a repaint and logo job, still looks nice in my office.

Just aired story on WESH TV in Orlando, no name released by media. According to media report player in 20s, on defense, helmet to helmet contact.

We're following developing news tonight from Volusia County where a player for the Daytona Beach Thunder Indoor Football league team has died after a collision on the field.

This all happened during a game at the Ocean Center Monday night. Daytona Beach Police say a defensive player from the Thunder collided into a member of the opposing team with extreme force.

The Thunder player then collapsed. He was rushed to Halifax Medical Center but did not survive.

The name of the player has not yet been released.

Fox News over here broke in about a death at an Arena game in Daytona Beach. No names mentioned in the report.

Can't speak from experience from eating there since it opened.  It was a HOPS when I was in school and the closest place I always went to was the Copper Top.

A semi-positive post- is this like 'Up is Down' Day or something?  

I am about to begin the auction and need a little help.  Can someone describe to me what the difference between "starting bid" and "reserve price" are?  I'm new to the online auction concept and just want to get everything right.

Reserve would be an amount that if bids are less than that amount, the item does not get sold.  So say starting bid 5.00, reserve is 50.00, the auction ends at 40.00, the reserve is not met, therefor the item is not sold.  Hopefully this makes sense.  Reserve amount is not usually revealed to potential buyers.

I have some ideas but the first thing would be when do you want to have this? How many people are you looking to have?  Do you have a place in mind already to have this?  I am sure everyone has a potential connection that could help make it happen.

If dabull80 can make it in from Mims, I could surely make it from Ocoee.

This will be my last post on this topic ( I hope).

First, I would have to say I feel pretty lucky to get the game ball, there were 2 up for bids, so the bidder labelled '240.00' got the second ball for auction.

I have a bowl program which I hope to have CJL sign at the Around the Horns in Lakeland in June 2007 (shameless plug). I also got one of the score sheets from outside Legions field.  The other piece of bowl history was the game on my DVR which I try to watch once a week.

Most prized overall game program 1 signed by CJL and Lee Roy Selmon and ofcourse all the ticket stubs.

I have got to ask other Bulls out there,  what is your most prized item from the papajohns.com bowl game?   Also, what would be your most prized piece of USF football history period?

This is great news.  Now if we could only find someone selling those embroidered polos and hats with the papajohns.com bowl logo -  my office and my home office will be Bullish.
