enough with the pity party
"p5" players enter the transfer portal ALL THE TIME to go to bigger programs or to lateral if another program has a need
enough already with the g5/minor leagues crap
this is college sports in 2024 with the exception of maybe 5-10 programs nationally and even then you're not 100% safe

College sports like watching a triple AAA ball team these days.
Anyone good will be gone in a year and everyone else is a revolving door.
Hard to watch where college athletics is going for those on the bottom rung.
I'm going to forgoe the NC game tonight just to make myself feel better while crying myself to sleep on my huge pilla.

Miguel is no where near an NBA player, but best of luck to him wherever he lands.

What do you make of Coach Amir Abdur-Rahim’s comments about his future at USF?. 95.3 WDAE · Original audioSounds like standard coach speak, he seems to like it here but doesn't go to far as to show his hand that will make negotiations more difficult for himself. I hope we keep him around a while hopefully the staff is getting something in place to do that.

Coach said we will see how the roster looks next year depending on the feedback Miguel and KP get because scouts have been calling during the season asking about them.
I’m guessing they will declare for the NBA draft without an agent to see where they are and what they have to work on if they decide to come back next year.
Love both KP and Miguel but neither stuck me as NBA material. Wish them both the best if that works out through.

You sound butthurt
Been going to games for a lot of years it was pretty classless and stood out.
Edit: Ahh you came here to talk **** didn't notice the sign up date.. so yeah guess that explains the attitude.

Went to every home game this year and sat behind the opposing bench. Never saw a team actively yell **** at the crowd... Never saw a towel boy screaming at people behind the bench once they had the game won to go home.
Usually I'd root for team that beat us in a tourney setting but **** these guys hope they get blown out next round.

Maybe I'm just old and selfish but I don't have any desire to sit in sweltering games without access to a club level with AC and amenties. I'm also not in the boat that having a stadium on campus brings more people - winning brings more people. Maybe during your downtimes you'll attract more locals and students but in aggragate being ranked, winning games, being compeitive will drive attendance.
That said it's a done deal, I'll attend games when things cool off or at night, but if last summer was any indication of the future temps my couch is looking pretty comfy.

STOP running the clock down to 10 and then taking a bad shot.
I really hate when we step down tempo when we have good momentum.. reminds me of playing prevent in football and giving up plays.

Who ever the designer was that put the K nights with space on their jerseys should be shot.. looks absolute ass.

I went to a game there a million years ago and it was a cavernous oversized high school gym.. That was probably in the 90s have they updated since then?

We play better as the underdog but hate that it's away...

Yikes...
4 quarters
22 ft. 3 point line (from 20'9")
18 ft. wide lane (from 12)
Well Miguel loves tossing up 24ft's so bring it I guess...

The season was unexpected and a blast but I have to admit we really blew a chance to get in with those last 2 loses.
I'd be lying if I didn't feel like we did the ole "USF things" despite a record breaking season.
The truth is FAU won their conference tournament last year after winning their conference and we did what we tend to do and fell a few steps short when we most need to take the next step.
Again amazing season and I hope we can carry the momentum with some new players next year but super bummed with the finish.

We got a 7 foot big man on the bench that I’ve never seen since the last minutes of the ECU game. Looks kinda. Thick too.
He's huge but so **** slow.

Now I'm curious what he was going to say about Hines and Jose that would get him fined...

I think if FAU wins they will spank UAB they match up way better with them then we do.
Yes, I thought Miguel and Hines did to but I don’t know.
Someone had said that Miguel indicated he was moving on in a prior thread so not sure.

I wonder what the University's long term plan is. You won't build a long term fan base with this type of attrition and at some period of time does the community just stop giving a ****?
I don't envy the poor saps that have to keep going back to the well for more money.
