There were no beer sales when we played Alabama there a few years ago.

That is due to an SEC rule... no beer at any SEC games.  Don't know about the bowl game

We have 3 of us going up on the bus...didn't  want to drive home in that holiday traffic!!!  

We have a small group going to the Bash Friday night.  We went to the one last year and it was a nice time(only complaint was that the food was not totally up to par).  I understand that this one will be held at a place called B&A Warehouse around the corner from the team hotel. They bill themselves as a gourmet catering company, so maybe the food will be better this year.  Anyway, hope to see a lot of you there - it is part of the bowl experience that everyone should take part in if they can afford the price.

You think you guys have it bad on here, our company heavily recruits from ECU - there must be 30 or so of them working for us now!!!  All I heard at our Christmas party was a bunch of kids saying things like "Arrgh we are going to kill USF...arrgh"

It is going to be a long 3 weeks here!!!! LOL

USF WAS on the front page of the MAIN PAGE of the times... equal "teaser" billing with FSU and UF.

Inside, the Gators got the HUGE headlines, but USF was the story at the very top of the page, above the fold, and above the HUGE Gators headline.

I'm not really mad about this.  It's not like they stuck the story on page 6x.  It's front page of Sports above the fold.

Is that the Trib you are talking about?  In the SPT, the Gators have 2/3 of the front page of the sports section, with USF on the lower 1/3 with a headline about 1/3 the size of UF's.  Pretty sad if you ask me.

Jim, I must say that the Selmons in St Pete is a much better set-up than the one in Tampa.  I went there to see the Miami game last year and said I would not go back there again, but the one at Tyrone is great.  

Thanks to the great staff AND to the 50+ fans who showed up at Selmons St Pete!  We had the entire bar area packed with Green and Gold!!  They definetly have supported us this year, and it has turned into a great spot to watch our Bulls.

Jenna - your mom & dad are great, and your mom and sister were doing a great job carrying on your "cheer" tradition for you!!  Would love to see you there next Sat at the last party of the year.

Pinellas County Alumni Chapter and the Bulls Club co-sponsor the watch party at LRS at Tyrone.  Both groups provide us with door prizes and info to give away.  Eric helped us a great deal in getting this one up and running and we really appreciate his help!  Come on by and get loud with us in cheering on our Bulls!

Suncoaster, we had just under 30 people at LRS on Tyrone and had a great time!  Sorry you couldn't make it.  Lots of cheering going on for our Bulls!  Some first-timers told me what a great set-up it is for the games, and I have to agree.  Great staff, great food,and draft beer specials.

Anyone in the St Pete area should check it out for the Cincy game Sunday.

We will be at Lee Roy Selmons at Tyrone Mall with lots of giveways as well.  They run draft beer specials for us and have great food and a great set-up to watch the game. They open at 11 and kick-off is noon.

I am glad your parents had a great time - they won some door prizes as well.  Sorry your study partner messed you up and you had to miss it - we would have liked to meet you!  Maybe you can make it next time if you aren't on the travelling squad.  We had a nice group there, and several said they would bring more people in next time, now that they know we will be having them there.  The entire staff wears USF every Saturday, and the management was very accomodating to us.

Your folks are great people and great fans!!

for those in south Pinellas that don't want to fight the traffic to Clearwater, there will be great give-aways courtesy of the Bull's Club, beer specials, great food and a great atmosphere at LRS at Tyrone Square Mall.  We would love to see some St Pete Campus folks there!

Chicky - your mom e-mailed me yesterday about Selmon's not having the game on, so I looked into it.  Selmon's at Tyrone DID in fact have the UCF game on - I went in tonite and spoke to Andrew(the proprietor) about that, and he apologizes about the bad info given to your parents.  When they called Saturday morning, he was not in yet and the person they spoke with did not think it would be on because it wasn't listed in the papers as being on any channel.  The entire staff there has been wearing USF shirts every Saturday since the season started, and, living in St Pete  I can't tell you how great it is to finally see a business supporting us.   They had a good group of people there watching it and one of the servers who currently attends USF said it was a good time.  I have e-mailed your mom and let her know we would be there this Sat, and hope to see you all there.

Anyway, Andrew hopes you will all come in this week so he can extend a personal apology about the bad info.

I called about them the other day - the tickets are all autographed, but there is a problem with the graphics on the plastic covers...latest expected date on them is probably mid April from what I was told
