We lose Memphis and utsa. Temple and Charlotte are very winnable.
Who says we lose Memphis and UTSA?! If the team that showed up to play Alabama shows up in either of these games, there is no way in hell we lose!

Listened to it yesterday. I think Red did a great job going solo!

I wouldn't call it a breakout game for them. They had two big passing plays of 59 and 41 yards. Eliminate those two plays and they would have had only 115 yards passing. If our defense can play the way that we know they are capable of playing and eliminate mistakes and big plays, I think we will be fine! They also had a fumble recovery that they returned 50 yards for a touchdown. If we can keep from making the same mistakes Rice made and giving up big plays, we will win this game!!

A) Being up 35-10 going into the 4th quarter and losing by one point. (UCF vs Baylor)
B) Being up 29-0 at halftime and losing in double OT. (Colorado vs Stanford)
C) Being up 30-10 with 6:12 to go in the game and let your opponent score 21 unanswered points to lose by 1 point. (Boise State vs Colorado State)
D) The beat down FAU put on us.

It is a positive that, after all the losing, with just a glimmer of hope, people turned out. That has to bode well when it comes to realignment. Leagues should realize that a successful USF program is a legit investment. Announced attendance of 36,670 for a game against FAU with a team that has been down for half a decade should actually be an eye-opener.
You would think, but I doubt it!

This this keeps getting pointed out a lot and I think we’re comparing two different perspectives.
When people say we played horribly in a game and it looks like we regressed that’s a totally different issue than “how many games are we going to win”? I think if we had lost yesterday by a closer margin or without looking completely lost, the reaction would have been different from many.
I think some were shocked we played so poorly, but inconsistency, to a degree, should be expected. Progress was seen from game to game early in the season but not maintained the last couple weeks.
We can still win eight games but that won’t change how poorly we played yesterday. That remains a fact, regardless of our final win tally. This! I'm good with losing if we do so without it appearing as if we were waving the white flag and looking like we quit long before the game was over. What frustrates me is that it appears to me that there are no leaders on this team. No one to round up and hype the troops. No one to light a fire under this team. We keep hearing this next play mentality preached to us, but I haven't seen it within our players the past two games. Why hasn't anyone stepped up to be a leader on this team?! Maybe someone else is seeing leadership on this team and can point it out to me.

Today was the first USF game I have ever left before time had expired. I was going to lose my mind if I didn't leave when I did (six minutes left in the third quarter).

Let the mass exodus begin!

Has he been in the two deep and I didn't notice?
Yes, he has. I can only assume it was overlooked based off what CAG had said at the press conference. Would be nice if something changed to make him eligible!

That was our Enter Sandman..........sorta.

Never would have thought SMU would only be leading ECU 14-10 going into the 4th quarter!

And it could be WET. Can't dig down very far in Florida without hitting the water table.... and draining the field during a Florida thunderstorm could be a challenge.
They would have to build UP around the stadium to allow it do then come back down to the current level... that would add a lot to the cost.
The stadium location is about 20 meters above sea level, but only 12-15 meters above the wetlands to the northeast.
I think Raymond James Stadium is only something like 11 meters.
