Not a good look for Memphis football. Seems to cheapen their product.

Let's review:
For his tenure at TCU, that appears to be a pretty dang good resume. Back in '03, USF lost to TCU by a scant three points. The next year, TCU lost to USF by a single point in double overtime. As for "recruiting Florida", not sure how much of a factor that really is. Recruiting the Southeast region seems to be a more fertile ground. Then again, not saying it to be mean, you have to sell the product to recruits and the job of selling USF compared to Tejas / Tejas Christian could be considerably different projects for factors other than geography. And he and I are the same age, although he chose to spend his formative years in the wheat fields of Kansas, I chose to meander the soya bean fields of North Carolina - so there's that. Always go with the rural route !
this shows a coach in serious decline and TCU made the right decision to get rid of. in the 4 seasons prior to this oen he went 21-22 and they clearly had talent because as as they replace him with a coach who isn't in decline they're undefeated and will be in the playoffs if they win out.

Sorry, distracted by E.T posting. What is this all about?
a service/software that allows coaches to spend less time sending messages to multiple recruits and just automates some of the process. someone realized that grown men who should be coaching shouldn't be spending more time trying to get high maintenance players than they do improving the players they already have. now they can still make the recruits feel special while focusing on their primary job.

Yet, European soccer seems to do it with great success. I don’t understand the ins and outs of European soccer or relegation, and I won’t pretend I do, but in concept I care much more about competitive football than TV value.
Well I do know about it and it's not all that it's cracked up to be. The same teams win the big prizes unless a lightly regarded team becomes the plaything of some sportwashing oligarch or country, see Chelsea under Roman Abramovich, PSG, Manchester City. in Italy Juventus won like 10 titles in a row before their players got old. Bayern Munich in Germany is currently in the midst of their own 10 straight league titles. PSG wins in France unless they're bored. only 7 teams have ever won the premier league in England, with Leicester City's 2017 win being a shock for the ages. Before the sugar daddies came in and diversified the winner list, it was just Manchester United and Arsenal competing for the title.
Relegation is a good concept, but because the stakes are so high it's dog eat dog and the big dogs eat the most.

How so?
the earth provides the support. no need for support pillars in the lower bowl or anything like that.
check out this video of SDSU's stadium construction and you'll see how it looks like they are just resting seats on dirt (they aren't) in the lower bowl.

What is the benefit in putting the field below ground level?
cost savings is the biggest one.

Probably not for the same reason there aren't basements in Florida.
Part of Ferguson Hall is undergound. Anyway, I was just wondering because of the whole Snapdragon stadium thing.

can the first tier be below ground at the site selected?

i honestly thought the radio network got a commitment from a station with those call letters.

it has to the CJL and then CWT

huh? so they should fire him because his reason for why we won't be playing each other (availability) doesn't show enough fear of us? playing them in those 4 OOC games didn't elevate them one bit, they didn't win any. playing and winning big in the AAC is what elevated them.

i'm calling him Doc Murder.

USF (Leavitt, Judy, Selmon) were looking out for the program by trying to keep a boot on their neck because they knew if they were on equal footing there was a strong possibility of THIS happening.

don't be this guy. i'm sure there were ucf fans that felt this way back in 2002-03 when a young upstart USF football program was able to get into two conferences that they wanted to be in: c-usa and then the big east. they went back to the drawing board and built up their program. that's what needs to be done now. just win baby.

the disney bundle is the same ($13.99), so might as well get that and get disney+, hulu and espn+.
