Now we literally have to beat UH -and- UCF and win two in the conference tourney to have a shot at NCAAs. We still kind of control our own destiny.

CJL is a tyrant. He choked a student-athlete within an inch of his life, then later told him to go f**k himself because he was the most powerful man in the university.
Not satisfied there, he emptied his belongings into the trash, drove the trashcan to the player's home address and set it on fire in their front yard.
He even killed a poor seagull that had been flying by and tied its lifeless corpse into a pretzel.
His reputation is irreparably tarnished.

So easy answer here. Sure the 2010-11'team preceding the NCAAT team went 10-23, but the 09-10' team preceding them (with DoJo) went to the NIT. There were a bunch of players on both postseason teams btw including Chris Howard.
This year's team follows teams that were a disaster for 7 years!

I was just looking at conference tournament tickets. Last went to Memphis for a tournament in the Seth Greenberg coached C-USA days. And that was at The Pyramid.
Could be fun.
Ah man, you didn't go to any of the BE Tournaments at MSG?! Even 2009 and 2012?

Like we saw with Mike White, he sucked against p6 opponents but went down to the Sun Belt and became some stud qb.

d2 is littered with players who transferred out of some really big d 1 schools. lots of p5 transfers.
he just played in the national title game and threw 5 TDs. I'm guessing the other school had plenty of talent including d1 talent especially compared to most high school teams
Youre thinking of FCS (1-AA) not DII
-
Have any of you watched D2? They have 5 foot tall WRs and 5'8" TEs. You want to promote a kid TWO levels higher? D2 is not even close to FCS

Two year deal is a formality. 'Zomg CCS has two years no matter what!'
Yo what kiind of program signs anyone to a one-year deal? Think before you speak. If CCS goes 3-9 or something ridiculous he gets fired with all his assts. Next question.
Fool

Aw man, that's too bad, but glad he gets the game check and will be on the Bengals sideline with his NFL teammates.

Yo, this **** made my whole day.

I everyone really forgetting? We didn't fire Heath to hire Antigua. We did it to hire Masiello, who was found to have lied on his resume.
I will always wonder how Steve Masiello wouldve done here. I can't help but feel we were about to emerge from a four-decade hibernation in men's hoops.

Look, I have an incredible level of respect for what CCS has endured in both life and his profession. He deserved a HC gig 3-5 years earlier than he ever got one. He is a class act as a private citizen and in the community.
Also though, he is an unbelievably incompetent head football coach who was skating through his first year and a half on upperclassmen outperforming inferior competion and/or going rogue. He is actively harming our program. We only have one shot left at realignment. We need to decide if we want a chair when the music stops, or if we're going to make believe that conference presidents/TV execs will reward us with a spot for turning our HC position into a charity gig.
Perceptions are fleeting. Baylor has been garbage, terrific and garbage again. UCF has gone winless twice. Both in the last decade. If we let CCS flounder our program for two more years because 'that's just how it's done' and pseudo concern about candidates being scared off, we're going to regret it forever.

Once again, **** you Charlie. ******* punk. Go **** yourself. Not going to a single game next year. If AD doesn't care, neither do I.

We should stop putting ourselves in 3rd and 15

Here is a crazy idea for USF offensive coordinator: Shane Stafford. Former AFL'er. Will bring a unique offensive mindset. AFL coaches are doing **** well in the NFL. (Matt Nagy, Jay Gruden, etc...)
Yesss love me some AFL coaches.

Clock management still a joke. Just like CCS and AD Kelly. F**** clowns.

I think the answer to that question lies in CCS’s buyout that no one seems to know about. I suspect it is the balance of the $7.8 million contract which means we are stuck with CCS for 2, possibly 3 more seasons regardless of the record.
Yeah. If Harlan did that poison us before he left, we should pursue immediate relief to the fullest extent of the law. Also, a public universoty's buyout clause with an employee should be a matter of public record.

12 vs 11 point deficit doesnt matter. 11 vs 10 is a huge difference. Dumb staff. Sigh.

Only team to ever lose out after starting '7-0'
Yet CCS will be here two more years because.. why again?

Are they serious with this playcalling? Thye had three weeks to prepare, freed themselves of Gilbert and.. ..this??

Auman shoots it down, then XFL2k reports it has multiple sources contradicting him within the league.
See you on March 6th.
