ECU threw for 465.
Louisville equally dominated run and pass (250+ each).
BYU had 300+ rushing.
Hard to win giving up 500+ yards and not stopping run or pass.
Florida game being the lone solid defensive game.

First JPP and now MVS are embarrassed to say their college school on SNF. #Culture

Tulane now 4-1
They were 2-10 last year but did whoop USF 45-14
Anyway, point is what’s happening at usf is not acceptable and we need to hear from the Mr Kelly

There is no way he’s resigning and turning down millions of USF $$.
I know, wishful thinking, but it would be refreshing. Too bad Kelly extended his contract. Decision would be much easier now.

A true USF Classic score some points in garbage time! Great play by horn and Gb.
Honestly think we would have more success having GB throw exclusively deep passes and use designed qb runs. He can’t throw anything from 0 to 15 yards with any type of success. He panics in the pocket and leaves too early which leaves him no options to throw.

I used to wear USF shirts almost everyday. Now I hardly wear them because of how ****** we are. Tired of having to talk about how we’ve gotten to bad
Underrated Comment ^^^

Nepotism at its finest! Resign if you had any respect in you for the players and fans and let USF have a fighting chance without you.

Shut the program down! Anything is better than this continued shitshow.

Back to apathy - can’t even punt

I hope we can see two things:
USF outscores Louisville in the 2nd half.
USF gets first passing TD of the year.
-
We would still be 1-3 with Timmy. Dude wasn’t good. Put in Gunnar or Byrum for some snaps.

College football is funny man. We are getting absolutely destroyed by a team who’s QB can’t throw.
-
Allowing 3rd and long QB runs is getting real annoying. You can’t let that keep happening.

He reinforced my belief in VPMK and CJS.
I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree that we should not be looking for quick fixes. We want things done the right way and sustainably so that a bad season is 7-5 not 2-10. He has my full unwavering support to tear the old system down and build it up the right way and yes I am grateful for him and the rest of USF leadership.
I definitely get a sense of loyalty from this group. Maybe coach turns this around and sticks around a while. That would be refreshing culture change. Like you said sustainability is key. That way if a coach does leave there’s enough internally (coaching and talent) to continue the program without taking major steps back.

He had a resume that was highly sought after. That’s not a surprise. The mess he was walking into, however, was.
The potential on both sides were there to succeed with a commitment to facilities and his potential success as a coach. The world changed, and so did the job. I have no issue with his statement there. The chasm between levels have grown significantly. The AAC can’t continue the farce after getting poached and adding teams like Rice to replace them. We are where we are. And to be fair, he hypes up the coming facilities and the team culture up a lot. There’s confidence around the incoming class too. His talks with the media are a lot different from the talks with admin or the team.
He’s being honest (as allowed) with the public for once, since when was that a bad thing? Dancing and singing around the truth is how we got here.
If the playoffs expand, I’m hoping that can benefit AAC but like you said we are where we are.

I watched the entire interview. I want USF to succeed. Those two items just didn’t sit well with me and was curious if others felt similar. If we are to get donors we need to sell our program and whatever conference we are currently in.
-
Two things coach said didn’t come across well to me
1 - "I actually had another opportunity to interview at a school in our league that had just won the (AAC) championship. I chose NOT to pursue that because I believed in Michael Kelly's vision."
That just comes across like we should be grateful to have him as our coach and how dare we criticize the process that results in three wins (Citadel, FAMU, and Temple). Jeff maybe you chose not to interview because you know you had no chance to get it and you secured the cash from USF. Interview does not equal offer.
2 - He mentioned several times “Power 5” and referred to USF as “Group of Five”. I mean I know we are in crappy conference that is about to get worse but what happened to all the “Power 6” talk. This just felt like acknowledging we are lesser. This coach can’t hype anything up. I struggle to see how our players get any motivation/fire pre-game from any of his speeches. Just sounds content.
Your thoughts?
-
Get this Marsh guy starter Reps the rest of the season. Can’t be worse.
-
I hope this coach keeps it real in the postgame speech.
I don’t want to hear participation trophy speeches. Just say the truth.
We need some major recruiting fingers crossed.
Can we run triple option and not throw? These QBs are pathetic. How did they even get scholarship? I am frustrated.
-
Commentators started talking about the production staff of the game with a couple minutes left in the 3rd quarter.
This is so embarrassing.
ND will probably let us score because we are that pathetic that their 3rd stringers will feel sorry for us.
