Where does Joey Knight have USF ranked?
I thought we'd agreed that his opinion doesn't matter.

I really like this...

I have two tickets available for the Illinois game. Two of my friends cancelled due to medical reasons. They are located in the USF section.

UCF 2017
Our seniors deserved to win it. When they chose USF there was nothing but possibilities.
QF played his heart out and nobody deserved a win more than him (IMO because he has already lost enough). I was sitting next to his cousin, at some point I said, "that's a gain!" She thought I said, "it's a game." She told me how determined he was to win that game for us, his fans.

My condolences and prayers for his family and friends. TBP family will miss you.
RIP charsibb.

When I did the research last year, the Hondas were the quietest. By far.
You'll remember the noise long after you've forgotten the extra bucks.
True. For generators Honda is at the top, costly but MOST quiet (we have the EB5000 I think it's loud but our generator guy says Honda is the most quiet). Only Onan (RV) beats it.
The take is that you have to pay to play. Buy one you can use for other things too, like FL weather related power outage.

How many times have we been watching a game where the commentators refer to us as UCF? Too many times over the years. When we're playing them they sometimes get very screwed up. So, South Florida good idea. Only the folks who live in Florida know that we're only kinda-sorta in S.Florida. Northern folks think Florida is all the south so that works. Plus it coincides with a good cheer....SOUTH FLORIDA SOUTH FLORIDA GOOOOOO BULLS! ****, I shoulda been a cheer leader....
It's never too late to be what you want to be. How about 10/31/18?! Post a pic!!!

During the Fan Fest we decided to do the autograph thing for the first time. The guys were welcoming and many thanked us for coming out, I thanked them for being at USF.
I love McCants and the sweet memory of him dragging a UCF player -We reenacted that moment!
Another WR asked me if I was going to make it to some of the games. I answered, "ALL home games, and that's how you should be asking other fans!" Then another one asked, what about away games? When I answered that I'm going to CHI, several of the guys were utterly excited (I think it was a curve ball, but I hit it out the park). What I need from you guys is to give it your all, make me scream like a crazy person (visual: I was jumping up and down).
During my time with the QBs I asked CO about how the competition was going and he said, "good." I gave him my 'that answer doesn't cut it look' and the new answer was that he is giving it his all and that he trusts his skills.
I asked BB if his wife was coming and he said, "yes, she should be here shortly." Then I saw him with the baby. They came to support him even with questionable weather. We have a great team and they are representing our alma mater, our city -this is OUR Team!
They chose USF, let's choose to be there and be LOUD! Bring others!
I can't wait for the season to start!!!- 1

If we go 3-0 in our first 3 games we will be ranked b/w 21-24th. By the time we play Houston We should be ranked b/w 16-18. If Houston is ranked and we beat them, then we will be ranked 15. If by the time we play UCF and both team are undefeated, then UCF should be close to the top 10. If we beat them, then the AAC championship then we should be ranked around 12 by the time we go to our NY6 bowl game. With no Navy or Memphis on our schedule, we have a good chance to run the tables in the AAC.

We need to be positive. I think this season will be much more fun than the last one! We lost Q and other great players, but I think these kids want to be the ones to bring it home.
And I want to Be Part of the Action! #BETHERE

The logical part of me cheers Barnett, but the emotional part wants Chris O or Kean to start instead lol
The only emotion I care for right now... the happiness of winning the conference (the bowl and every game). I mean maybe I'm a bit competitive since I would have volunteered my kids to get theirs from xCJL for messing around. But, that's just me the girl who grew up with 3 older brothers so what do I know about competitiveness.

I pay $39.31 after taxes for Sling each month. I have the sling Blue ($25), comedy extra ($5), and DVR ($5). For internet I pay $44.99 per month. Before I switched, I was paying a total of $154 per month for cable and internet with spectrum. So I save about $70 per month.
Who's your internet provider? I pay 69.99/month for 100x10 from Spectrum.

Had she read it, she wouldn’t have been in the dark about USF . With her being a non-traditional student with the extremely busy life she described, I seriously doubt her claim that she would have attended football games, free or not.

So your whole problem about not going while you were there is because you couldn't get a free ticket? Which I fully understand based on your unconventional student status but just a little confused about the scope of your complaint ...
No, I didn't know when and where the games were played and how to go about getting tickets etc. Knowing it was free and seeing a video would have piqued my interest. I was brand new to college sports.

Did it ever cross your mind to call your USF Ticket Rep, or are you wanting for the AD to reach out to you?
I see why you get so many downvotes, you are so charming!
I sent an email and received a partial response "having issues locating your account..." I sent a reply back the same day and haven't heard back since. That was 5 days ago. Hard to get that warm fuzzy feeling that athletics is doing their best.

I read it, maybe next orientation it will happen.
It was also mentioned that athletics has been saying that the events are free for students at the orientations.
If it was mentioned during my orientation I missed it.
Thirdly, you never attended a game because you didn't know that they were free? You never thought to ask how much games were? Sounds like you really weren't that interested to begin with, so would a two minute, "hype" video during your orientation actually change that? You may answer with a, "yes" but I seriously doubt that.
Yes! That simple video would have very likely gotten me to a game.

I can't only blame myself for not knowing how athletics worked, if they want ppl on the seats they have to do more.
You never had a conversation with a single other student about attending a game and they never mentioned it was free? Never
Not everything is on athletics to market 100%. Plenty of work has to be done by word of mouth and personal contribution.
10 hours ago, Triple B said:How long ago were you there?
I graduated FA/2013
I was an unconventional student who attended HCC first, married with 3 kids in HS and a demanding full time job. I began in 2010 with zero credits and finished in 2013 with a major in Finance and a minor in Int'l Business. Needless to say I regularly slept 3hrs to get a 3.89 GPA.
I promise you, if I would have seen that video I would have figure a way to go to a game. My only experience with sports was Rays and Bucs.
Since I graduated, I have attended 90% of football home games (only sport my husband cares about), all bowl games and some away games. I invite friends to the games and other events, wear USF gear ALL the time, my RV has a USF tag, I'm almost all about it.
Trying to figure out how to get RV parking so I can host small sororities/fraternities at the tailgate. I'm willing to take personal responsibility and try to do more each year, but athletics has to do their part and avoid missing opportunities.
Rant over!

On that note, I do believe a separate athletics thing would be more effective instead of lumping it in with orientation. There's so much information given that is far more important to a vast majority of the students, that the athletics message would likely get lost.
More information may not be needed, but a video hyping up the athletics program while parents and siblings are there with some "Be Part of the Action!" encouragement should be part of every orientation.
I didn't know it was free for students and never attended a game as a student, for that I blame athletics.

I coach a local team and would rather play up and lose by 10 than play down and win by 20.
And how many times did you begin the season with only a couple returning players? CBG made hearts from intestines (Spanish euphemism) last year. It's not a competitive schedule, but one that will get the team going on its first true season. There is excitement in winning games.
Cut the team a little slack...
