  1. I would be extra careful about insulting the flagship football program of your conference.
  2. That poll was conducted shortly after the BCS game with Baylor. I'm sure they have regressed back to the mean. Wrong again bulls fan, UCF's season ticket sales have surpassed last seasons by over 2,000 so far and 3,000 over the season before that. Plus the students actually show up to the games. You need to work on reading comprehension I was waiting for one of your "internet friends" to correct you, but they didn't. Although UCF shutout usf at home last season in a transistion year after losing both Blake Bortles and Storm Johnson, truth is UCF didn't win the Fiesta bowl last season. But going into this year season ticket sales have surpassed last seasons. All UCF did was win Back-to-Back conference championships.
  3. Any chance you can put all the posts from Karma and Gums, along with all replies, in there? I know it will set back Trip's goal for this thread to hit 400 pages but they do seem like they belong there. I know its tough for you to only discuss the two teams. It's a natural mechanism of the brain admitting defeat.
  4. It seems the joke is on you... http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/10/03/upshot/ncaa-football-map.html?_r=0 It's also unbiased, which many of you should look up the definition. Basically, UCF is many years ahead of usf. I'm almost certain there are more UCF fans in the Tampa/St Pete area then usf now but it's hard to prove since this research doesn't include many of the small time teams. Are you freaking serious? This is based on Facebook likes? This map is virtually meaningless. Do you have any better research links? No? There were more FSU and UCF fans at both of your homes against them. Deep down you hate to admit it.

Basically, UCF is many years ahead of usf. Bahaha ... enjoy it while it lasts. It was like that for us too back in 2007-2009, when your program was the equivalent of a skid mark on your dad's undershorts. Many years ahead of USF ... good one, Gums. When and where are you getting an OCS?

  8. I'm sure this has been discussed in other, more appropriate areas, and imagine credible evidence has been lacking .... but by all means, try and provide some ... and this is only because I'm trying to get this thread to 400 pages and you knoodleheads can help in that endeavor ... It was posted in the NY Times.
  9. Temple is in a big market but if you don't carry it what does it matter? The Gators own the Tampa market. USF and UCF to different degrees in my opinion both have this problem. And I already responded to the bold part but I'll add more...there is a big difference on where you want to spend college vs where you want to live long term. Students from Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, and Jacksonville are not picking UCF bc of the crime rate in Pine Hills or MetroWest 30+ minutes from campus. It's bc the campus, the immediate campus area, programs offered, good nightlife, quality of life for an undergrad, and the overall college atmosphere at UCF. Have you ever been to FSU and driven more than 5 minutes away from the immediate vicinity of their campus and seen that mundane town? Yet it still doesn't stop all those students and recruits from wanting to attend there UCF is now more popular in Orlando then UF and FSU.
  10. Not happening. It's going to be UCF and Cincy if the Big 12 takes only 2. UConn and Memphis if they decide to take 4. USF isn't being noticed by anyone and rightfully so. Just give it a rest.
