When I found out the guy I gave one my extra tickets away to was a UCF fan (guy didn't even say thank you or anything), I was a little bummed.

Felt a lot better when I saw him leave with 8 minutes left in the second half.

Sorry for his loss.

What? You have me confused sir. I was being sarcastic about UC effers loss tonight. Ive been pretty clear on twitter that they can eat my nuts as far as I'm concerned. 74 to 45 is a pretty good beating. If anyone is enjoying the ride home it is U Clown Football fans.

But, but usf fans are so much classier than UCF fans.  What happened to when usf won they did not act like this.  Congrats on beating a UCF basketball team that is 14-17 and has lost 10 of its last 13, you're world beaters.  Even with that, UCF's recruiting class coming in is better than usf's next year.  Good lock, Football season is right around the corners.

Actually ucf has the highest ranked average player amongst all the G5 schools, but hey no surprise there.

All I'm going to say-you haven't ever seen Ray Jay when it's rocking, your UCF quarterback can't hear, and there's a D-linemen in the backfield waiting to take the hand off to your overrated million carry running back. And unfortunately, you won't get that experience next year as we're going to keep Orlando nice and quiet. 

I've heard Ray Jay rocking, I was a season ticket holder the year the Buc's won the Super Bowl.  Outside of that, I was at the FSU/USF game, FSU fans were pretty loud.  Please stop with loud Ray Jay, the chances of that happening is very slim with your current staff.

To me, academic success is your students graduating and going out into the real world and getting good jobs, making good money and giving back to the University.

Really, you don't think the endowment has more to do with having a medical school for so long compared to UCF?  Truth is, with UCF's Medical City that gap will shrink quickly.

USF already learned pride comes before the fall. UCF fans are acting pretty juvenile right now pounding their chest on some ok accomplishments... they'll grow up one day too, which I'm surprised hasn't happened yet with GOL lying, playing a role in the death of a player, being accused of racism, bowl bans and being outrecruited by a coach of a 2-10 and 4-8 team.

That is so cute and I see you joined this forum in 2010, two years after the last USf win over UCF. You clearly were not around when all star USF fans like Steve Bien, cyberbull and your very own moderator on this board were all over the UCF message board talking crap. Remember when USF was #2 for a cup of coffee, well your fan base let everyone know about it for years. USF accomplished a lot without any growing pains, basically never building a true fan base.

Also, since you want to bring up GOL and the Plancher death, which shows your maturity by the way, maybe you should look up the name Keely Doesey. As for being accused of things, well USF coaches have been accused of striking players, giving non qualified recruits athletic administration jobs, having fish bowls full of condoms in the football offices, wife's attending classes for players, coaches covering up arrests and so on and so on. See how good accusations are?

One last thing, there was no bowl ban and the recruiting rankings are useless when you don't have the coaches to coach said talent.

 

Well, there you go. Higher standardized test scores from high school. I've been burned. If only I could find some sort of national organization that ranks colleges on their academics. That would be super helpful if one of those thought USF was better.

Next time just teach him a lesson in math as I dont think they teach that over there. Tell them that 4 is greater than 2. Which means that USF has 4 wins head to head with UCF compared to their 2 wins against USF. The OP never told us who the receiver committed to. I don't recognize the jersey. I'm pretty sure the old guy in the picture used to be the Notre Dame coach, but I have no idea what is has been up to since Notre Dame fired him for lying on his resume, for the life of me I can't remember his name.

Funny, he's been at UCF longer then your last two coaches combined and no doubt usf's next coach who should be starting about this time next year.

No tax dollars can be used for college athletic venues in the state of Florida.

Wow, just wow. First lets ear up a few things. They Rays are not going to build a new stadium. The worst part of Tampa where no one from St Pete, Souh Tampa or Lakeland would be interested in driving to.

Also, I an tell none of you have done much or any commercial real estate or development. The mall would cost practically as much as the cost to build a nice stadium. The Claw is on environmentally sensitive land that the state would never allow construction on. MOSI is owned by the community and while that sounds like the best option for off campus, that is also a very long and expensive process.

The best option is an on campus stadium that would be affordable and financable. To do that projected ticket revenue has to be calculated. That would be hard for UCF to do because of the large step down a move would be from Ray jay and the amenities that usf fans are use to.

You need us after all these years?

I think UCF/USF Combo makes a hell of a lot more sense than either individually. TV market size, especially if Texas has a big say. Don't forget they have the Longhorn network to grow. Need viewers.

One other factor to consider. There has been a lot of complaining about the travel issues that WVU has dealt with. Adding just UCF or USF without the other creates the same issue.

The smart move, for everyone involved should be to add UCF, Cincy, Memphis and USF.

Creates easy travel games if broken into divisions. Good football and basketball markets, good recruiting and good market sizes.

Just saying UCF deserves it because they have been is really shortsighted. They were at least 2 miracle plays and a non PI call from being a 6 loss team this year. That team loses most of their playmakers this year and their 2 year run of amazing luck isn't going to last forever.

Memphis finally won a conference for first time since 1971. Yeah, they add a lot of football tradition.

Results on the field go up and down. The business side of things is what the powers that be should be looking at. Will they? Who knows.

Kind of like your WR pushing off for that win against SMU. You left out the last second field goal that allow Penn State to win. It's not just wins and losses, it's about leadership, facilities and fan support.

After watching Stanback run through ECU i have no doubt USF was very lucky he nor his backup played. How sad is it that the UCF third string RB out rushed your best player?

Unlike a lot of USF fans I was around in the beginning of the USF program and knew several of the people involved. I also was around during the div 2 days at UCF. USF built their program off of a brand new NFL stadium, cheap seats with a lot of perks not found at college stadiums and a win at all administration and coach that bent many rules and character be damned. UCF ranks near the top of the APR scores while USF ranks near the bottom. Classroom translate on to the field as well. Even in the"good times" for USF , your teams were known for not finishing a season. Start well, lose later, that is coaching and character. USF has never had it, that must be built just like a culture in a successful corporation.

10 years after creation, UCF was a DII team with the Citrus Bowl as their stadium. Stop your whining.

 

 

Are you kidding me, the Citrus bowl was a dump and the the area around the citrus bowl was the worst part of Orlando, much like Temple Terrorist is the worst part of Tampa.

Oh please, what it took was actually building a program and earning your way up. USF is a plastic facade program with a politician for a president and a spin master for a head coach.
